The PHILIPS HUE Bedside Lamp is your guiding light from dusk till dawn
Designed to support your circadian rhythm with light, the Twilight sleep and wake-up light uses science-backed scenes to help you feel more recharged throughout the day, more refreshed when waking up, and more peaceful when going to sleep.
Decorate your space with a blend of color
It’s back light features exclusive ColorCast technology, which uses precisely overlapping LEDs to wash large areas with a blend of colors that stay rich and consistent no matter the distance from the wall. It gives you both a beautiful sunrise wake-up effect and a decorative light for any moment. The front light swivels left and right so you can angle it exactly where you need it, letting you position it perfectly for reading before bed.
It’s two buttons on the top give you instant control. By default, the dot button switches through six scenes designed especially for Twilight, while the Hue button triggers a Go to sleep automation with one touch.
Designed to give you the best light for each moment of the day
In the morning, it simulates dawn with a gently brightening light that encourages the body and mind to awaken more refreshed and recharged. At night, the lamp switches to warm and reddish hues — ones that lack the short wavelengths of blue light, which suppresses the sleep hormone melatonin in your body — to help prepare your body for a restful sleep.
Ultra-low dimming means it can dim down lower than many other lamps.
Compact and slim design
The Twilight sleep and wake-up light can be set on small nightstands while allowing room for other bedtime essentials.
- Wake-up and sleep lamp
- Blue light suppresses melatonin
- Compatible with Bluetooth
- Designed to support your circadian rhythm
WAKE UP FEELING RECHARGED: By simulating the gentle brightening of dawn, the Twilight nightstand lamp can help you wake up feeling more recharged throughout the day
SLEEP PEACEFULLY: The bedside LED lamp has built-in scenes which switch to warm, red light, and blue light suppresses melatonin, so these scenes remove it, helping you relax before bed
3-IN-1 FUNCTIONALITY: Decorate your space with a blend of color, sleep and wake peacefully with science-backed scenes, and use it as your bedside reading lamp, two lights, three uses
ULTRA-LOW DIMMING: Twilight can dim down lower than many other lamps, giving you the gentlest wake-up, and because it’s so dim, it makes the perfect nightlight
NATURE-INSPIRED SCENES: Designed to support your circadian rhythm, the lamp LED light has six sunlight-themed scenes give you the right light spectrum, from the red-toned sleepy to the brighter arise
Hue Bridge required:A Philips Hue Bridge (Sold Separately) is required to use Go to Sleep/Wake up automation as well as other advanced settings

Best lamps I ever had.
These lamps are a little more modern than what I typically purchase so I was nervous as to how worth over half a grand two lamps would be for me. They are one of my favorite purchases. They are bright, they create a lovely ambiance to the room and the wake up lighting feature has made my mornings more pleasant. I have no regrets. I look forward to the morning light. I and the low light in the evenings. I enjoy how they compliment my other hue lights to create lighting scenes to make my room more enjoyable. This has been a mood booster. They work perfectly and were very easy to set up.

Do you own a Bridge? No? Then buy one or get a different lamp.
I recently purchased this lamp based on a YouTube recommendation, and wanted to share in further detail some of what other people have already mentioned in other reviews. The elephant in the room being that Philips has essentially stripped most of the options/features for this lamp IF you do not own a Philips Bridge ($40). In the app, all timers on the light are limited to 30 minutes, the “Automations” feature- does not exist. It’s replaced by a feature called “Routines”, where you can set the wake-up light routine. Unfortunately, these routines turn OFF after they run, so you will have to manually turn the routine back on every day if this is your daily alarm. The preset colors for the alarm are also limited to 2 options. While this is quite ridiculous, I of course bit the bullet and bought a Philips Bridge. Long story long, I recommend everyone else do the same, Philips knows how to make a darn good smart home system. Now that I have all the features, the automation options alone are worth the Bridge price. The lamp itself is great, it does what I tell it to. And as far as I can tell it produces light like most other lamps I’ve seen in my day. I mean it’s a $200 lamp so one might expect it to be comical, but maybe it’s just a decent nightstand lamp (it is). Great product.Long story longer, don’t buy this lamp if you think the price is ridiculous, because it is. If you’re rich or you’re irresponsible with your money, but also want something that works, then I can happily recommend this product to you 😊

PerFECT for ‘Moon Base Alpha!’
Functionality so solid/refined + Singularly UNIQE design = CLICK/BUY!Don’t expect miracles for any sleep issue, only discipline and longterm exercise does that. But…O MY GOSH! Just loving this thing. My tastes lean modern/function/pulled back wow and this thing delivers! Never misses a beat using voice to perform basic functions. I’m using it on my KITCHEN COUNTER….it’s a gallery kitchen with an island. A large support column runs though the countertop up through the ceiling. Now on the counter, the ‘polar white’ column is the PERFECT backstop to project some interest/vibes. It’s beautiful and endlessly changeable. With a largely voice-controlled home, a mixed/contemporary leaning industrial vibe.Works well even nowhere near a bed, and YOU are composing the tone of environment. There’s sometimes a ‘therapeutic effect’ with even subtle effects. Even just using selections in the white spectrum is calming. Okay, okay…can you tell I’m a fan of the Philips Hue systems?-G

Intelligent Lighting and Wake Illumination
The lights work well as described, and they are easy to set up and run. They can also be integrated through the app with other Philips Hue lights. The cost as reported is rather high for the material used and the physical product, so you are mainly paying for the ‘tech’ and the branding.

Good, but very expensive for what they are
I bought 2 of these for our bedroom tables. They are insanely expensive for what they are. The build quality feels incredibly cheap/plastic, but they do look quite attractive, the color gradient it splashes on the wall is very nice indeed – I guess this is where they took the idea for their new ‘wall splashers’ (which I also bought, and are also insanely expensive!).I am pretty tech savvy, but have to admit that I found myself a bit confused setting up the buttons on them and their automations – so in that respect I would say that they are a little more ‘advanced’ to use than just a standard Hue Go lamp or similar. But that said, you effectively have a Hue Switch built in to them, which offers a degree more value for money if you want to use the lamp to control your wider Hue set-up and not just the lamp itself.

Not for me, I think I must have misread reviews
Hi! I’m big into Apple: an AppleTV 4k, HomePods and HomePods mini, and more. So when I came across this and it was suggested I could use the AppleTV as the hub, and it would then work via HomeKit, I was intrigued. Then reviews I stumbled across suggested it might have a built in battery (does not), noting the cord disconnects (at the base of the wall plug-in, not the device, and uses one of those proprietary cords and not a standard USBC).It’s a fine device, it connected bluetooth fine (had some troubles as I misplaced the manual and online instructions weren’t as clear as desired). But not being able to figure out how to get it working as a smart device, finding it won’t work for me as a mobile lamp in case of power outages and such, it really wasn’t a fit for me. Do your research, get a Philips Hue hub, and it’s probably an excellent device for many, just not me.

Expensive, but worth it. The built-in sleep/wake functions are great, but the mood light combinations available by having lights on the back and front of this make it really worthwhile. My wife really isn’t into this stuff at all and has always stuck with a non-smart bedside lamp but as soon as she saw this she went ‘ooh that’s nice – I want one of those!’

Once you have the times for wake up and/or sleep set in the Hue App. It’s a gem of a light!

As many others have already mentioned, for 340+ you’d expect something of a game-changer.This is a decent lamp, but it’s worth no more than 200 (and that’s only if you’re really into Hue and are familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of their products, as I think I am). In addition, it’s missing some key features for wake-up: there’s no snooze option, and you can’t turn wake-up automation on or off directly on the lamp—it can only be done via the app. However, the Smart Sleep function can be controlled using the Hue button.Premium price for the lack of features for wake-up and smart control?Wake up, Hue team – the market has better options. Will return it.

You cannot go wrong with Philips Hue lighting. Great quality in light and experience. The 3 out of 5 rating is due to the price for this product. The plastic lamp doesn’t feel like it’s worth the steep price. If they bring the price down to $150, then it would be worth it. Not over $300 for plastic.
