Great thermometer
This is the first time my wife and I used a no contact thermometer. It works perfectly, is accurate and easy to use. It was shipped quickly and was in perfect condition. It is so much easier to use than the ones you insert under your tongue. The reading happens in seconds, and it beeps to let you know it is ready to read.

Ich will wirklich niemanden anstecken.”Das war in den letzten 15 Jahren die Begründung, die ich meinem Chef vorgelegt habe, wenn ich Home Office oder einen Urlaubs….ähhh Krankheitstag brauchte. Obwohl das eine schöne Zeit war, habe ich mich sehr gefreut, dass mir mein Chef irgendwann aus blanker Nächstenliebe die Anschaffung eines Fieberthermometers nahegelegt hat. Wir hatten zu Coronazeiten ein Modell im Office, das diesem hier sehr ähnlich war. Von der einfachen Anwendung inspiriert, habe ich mir dann das gute Stück für den privaten Gebrauch zugelegt. Und was soll ich sagen? Ich habe so gut wie keine Krankheitsausfälle mehr!Ich will jetzt nicht so weit gehen zu behaupten, dass mich das Thermometer gesund hält, aber auf jeden Fall zeigt es zuverlässig an, dass ich oft nicht so krank bin, wie ich mich fühle. Zwischenzeitlich hat es so stur 36.6°C angezeigt, dass ich mich schon fragte, ob die Zahlen wohl nur aufgemalt sind. Aber nichts da! Es funktioniert.Ich habe einfach ein paar ein paar andere Dinge gemessen, um sicherzugehen:- Dr. Wolf (Stirn): 36.6°- Andere Personen: Zwischen 36.5° und 36.8°- Dr. Wolf (unterm Arm): 36.6°- Der Hund: Hat leider Fieber (38°), freut sich aber trotzdem über die Aufmerksamkeit- Dr. Wolf (Rachen): 36.6°- Tasse Tee: ERROR. Temperatur hat sich aber mit der Zeit eingependelt und war nicht mehr im kritischen Bereich.Hier noch einmal alle Vor- und Nachteile auf einen Blick:Pro:- Sehr einfache Anwendung- Leicht abzulesen- Messergebnisse sind meines Erachtens zuverlässig- Hygienisch unbedenklich, weil man sich nichts in irgendwelche Körperöffnungen stecken muss. Man kann. Man muss aber nicht.- Preis finde ich völlig angemessenContra:- Leider habe ich durch die präzisen Messungen weniger Krankheitstage und weniger Freizeit als früher. Die Welt ist so ungerecht!Nichtsdestotrotz: Klare Kaufempfehlung!(Anm. des Autors: Ggf. enthält dieses Review leichte rhetorische Übertreibungen und dramaturgische Spitzen, die nicht deckungsgleich mit meinem wirklichen Arbeitsverhalten sind. Das Stirnthermometer sieht robust aus, funktioniert auf Anhieb und misst sehr genau.Generelle Eigenschaften kontra VorbehalteDie Vorbehalte mancher Gesundheitsratgeber gegen Stirnthermometer kann ich nicht teilen. Die Messungen werden enorm schnell ausgeführt und sie sind für meine Zwecke genügend zuverlässig. Dabei wird ein relativ großes Display verwendet, das je nach Gefahreneinschätzung die Farbe von Grün über Gelborange nach Rot wechselt. Es ist also auch für Senioren gut geeignet.Eignung, Handhabung”Für Babys und Erwachsene” ist eine etwa seltsame Bezeichnung. Tatsächlich kann man das Gerät in jedem Lebensalter verwenden. Dann muss man nur noch wissen, dass sich der Drucktaster für die Messung auf der Rückseite befindet und den Sensor (Vorderseite) in einem geringen Abstand von der Stirn platzieren. Drücken – das Gerät meldet sich mit einem kurzen Ton, wenn alles in Ordnung ist, dann ablesen.Auch gut: für das Gerät sind keine teuren “Spezialbatterien” erforderlich.

Je nachdem wo und wie man misst bekommt man eine immer andere Temperatur. An der Schläfe gemessen sind es dann mal 40grad an der Stirn dann nur 39,5. Man weiß nie so genau wieviel Grad Fieber es jetzt sind und ich muss jedes mal ca 6 mal messen in verschiedenen Positionen mit verschiedenem Abstand. Sogar an der Stirn messe ich dann 3 oder 4 mal und jedes mal steht dort etwas anderes. Wenn denn noch eine Haarsträhne im Weg ist,hat man dann doch auf einmal kein Fieber mehr.Das piepen und leuchten funktioniert, auch das Speichern, nur richtig messen ist eine Wissenschaft oder evtl doch Zufall
