I have back problems, and occasionally neck and shoulder muscle spasms and aches. I have, over the years, gone to great lengths to get my lovey heating pad (which I could NOT live without) to drape over my neck and shoulders, and it sort of does, but not well. I saw this heating pad designed specifically for neck and shoulders, at a great price, and ordered. WOW! It exceeds my expectations and helps the neck and shoulder pain more than I had hoped. The heating pad is very well made of good quality materials, well sewn, strong and durable, and is made to last. It is weighted, which helps it drape over my neck and shoulders and conform to my body shape. Every part of the heating pad is heated, so the flaps that close in the front also heat, making the front of my shoulders and ball joints much less painful. The pad has six heat options, and it really does go from low to HOT. It can be set for a max of 2 hrs auto off. The heating pad plugs into the wall, and has a pull-apart plug up close to the actual pad (much like electric blankets) if you want to leave it on but move around for a while. That plug is HARD to use, at least the one I have is, and I have not been able to get it apart; my hands are not really strong, and I am going to get Hubby to open it for me, hoping it will be easier after that. Sometimes it is nice to run get a glass of water without having to take the whole thing off. Which is no big deal, as it snaps in front, BUT. I am truly delighted with the design and functionality of this pad; the size is perfect for me, a 5’4″ woman, about 150 pounds. For a BIG man, I honestly think a larger size might work better, if you want to cover the entire front and back of shoulders. But this is a GREAT heating pad, and I recommend it without hesitation. It would be a great gift for anyone who has neck, shoulder or back problems where heat helps pain. Wow! This pad has honestly made my life more comfortable. I can work, hurt, use the pad, feel better, back to work . . . . And I know rechargeable pads are available, and I had one, but it did not cover the area as well, did not have weight to hold it in place, and simply did not get hot enough. This one does all of that. Again, WOW! Wow!

Good and easy to use on your sore neck
It works well. I took off a star because the thick attachment gets in the way. I wish it was down the cord a bit more. The cord is long, and 5 is almost too hot for me, so I mostly use 4. It’s soft on my neck and shoulders.

This was the best purchase I made in 2025! It’s durable, heavy but not too heavy, heat is amazing, actually get hot enough, it’s so soft, it’s the perfect size for my shoulders, has many lengths of time for auto shut off, and the cord length is great! Highly recommend
