I am an electrical enigneer that mostly does firmware and software development. I also do board design and productization as well as data center AI development.I am often hunched over my workbench or spending hours and hours at my desk editing code or my designs. I get terrible back pain between my shoulder blades and just below my neck.I have CKD stage 2-3A, which means I can’t take NSAIDs else my kidneys will get destroyed. I want o avoid dialysis and death until I am ready to shake this mortal coil off. My nephrologists recommended my PCP to prescribe Tramadol. Which to me, is like a placebo. I feel no effect from it at all (yet they consider it a narcotic – uhm no).Was researching pain relief that is actually effective for CKD patients and its basically narcotics, nerve blocks, or TENS/EMS. I spend some time searching through all the various manufacturers and settled on this one. I am extremely happy with the performance.It ie extremely easy to use. It holds a charge for hours and hours of use. The high quality hard case is very nice. It has som many different patterns of nerve/muscle stimulation. It doesn’t necessarily remove the pain, but it does make it so it isn’t so terrible. The different pulse and strengths allow me to really dial in the pain relief. This is also an EMS unit. Meaning it can also be used to build muscle and prevent atrophy. It works very well. It is so powerful, I can’t even put it to the highest strength.Well worth the money. It is almost hard to believe you can get this quality for the price. I can remember years ago when I wsa in the Marines I had a muscle stimulator to help build my abs. That thing was like 500 bucks – 20 years ago. This one is much better than that for less than 10th the cost and 1/4 the size. This is so small its hard to believe.I also picked up some extra pads, even though the pads continue to work forever as long as you put them back on their wrapper or on the included plastic card.I would definitely recommend and would buy again.

Excellent performance and value
I suffer from fibromyalgia and a herniated disc and even the strongest meds don’t completely work. This unit however fills the gap and has a number of TENS functions to choose from with adjustable intensity to override the pain in a lasting way. The adhesive on the pads is also strong and allows for multiple use extending the time between replacement. This is definitely the best TENS unit that I’ve tried and for a very modest price. It’s easy to use and the battery lasts a long time in a single charge. I just wish it had a belt clip or lanyard for added convenience if I’m not wearing clothing with pockets.

Adequate and affordable
This is my first tens unit. I like that it is compact. The pads remain sticky after several uses. It does provide some pain relief. It is very lightweight and I like it has a handy case to carry with you. Since I don’t have anything to compare it to, I will just say it’s adequate. Pricier than some, but not as costly as others.

I really like this unit. The mode choices are great and there are a lot to choose from. It works really well and is easy to use. It’s also lightweight and easily portable. It does a great job at relieving those tight and achy muscles. Definitely recommend this.

It Definitely Works
The unit is as described. It’s both a TENS and EMS unit. There are two channels (A and B). The unit comes with reusable gel pads, and 2 electrodes. You can plug one pair into port A and the other into port B. You recharge the device using a USB-C cable. The unit itself is small (fits into the palm of your hand) and comes with a case. It’s a plastic unit so it’s lite but feels a tiny bit fragile. The price was good though. I bought the unit to replicate dry needling + stimulation that I had done with the physical therapist. The instructions aren’t super clear, but you simply select M for mode, choose the mode, choose channel A and/or B, and then choose the level of stimulation. The default time is 20 minutes. I mean . . . it works. There’s no way I could go to the highest setting or even past the halfway point in terms of electrical outputI don’t buy into any muscle building or strength training claims, but it definitely works the muscles. In terms of battery life, I’ve used it maybe 6 times and the unit still has a full charge. I’m hoping it lasts because it seems like a good unit. I bought this unit because it was really hard to determine whether reviews for the other models were true.

These are great. Love that they’re rechargeable, about the size of a cellphone and come in a carry case. Easy to set a program and lots of settings. Pads are super sticky and large. Works so much better than a previous brand we had, which was twice the cost. Display is easy to readHighly recommend.
