Winter is coming! BEST thermometer I have used.
Winter is coming, and we know what comes with it. Get this now!! As an elder experienceed RN who survived the plague and homecare nurse, sanitation is vital. I have tested and reviewed so many thermometers I can’t even count and I had a favorite but THIS is my new FAVORITE. No touching, no fancy instructions or getting it on the right spot or distance or any fiddling. The speed is literally lightning, no exaggeration. Not seconds, more like half a second like a laser….my resistant patients don’t even know I took their temp and have no chance to say no…POINT…PRESS…GO…. I have tested accuracy with a genuine old mercury thermometer several times in different conditions (mercury is the most accurate). Battery life is amazing which means less last minute trips to whatever store you have to stop at every couple weeks with others.

Solid product
Works great for me. I’m a nurse so it’s really convenient for in home visits. One thing I can’t remember how to do it change the human setting to object. It’s accurate for human readings. I haven’t had to change the batteries since I received it. Color is as described.

A little picky
So first off if you’re going to use one of these you need a second person. It is easy to get it to turn on, easy to scan, and the colors of it are simple enough to tell. The problem that I see in this doesn’t even come in how long it takes to read which is actually fairly quick. My issue is that it may read too fast because before I can line up where it is scanning it has already scanned a temperature. So at times I am scanning half my head and at other times I’ve got it right up against my scalp. It would be more functional if it gave you time to get it in place however for best results you will want to have it in the perfect spot to get the perfect review of your body to start with. I found this annoying. Also I can’t be certain of the accuracy since all the temperatures seem to be lower than what I actually was however as a caveats to that I also was sweating each time so it may have been that caused my skin to be colder. I don’t know however if I’m running a fever I’ll be sweating and if that’s going to cause mistakes I am a little hesitant to trust this. I may change this review after I actually get sick and run a fever or someone else in the house does. However if you are someone who like me is often without someone around the house to put a thermometer at the right place to position it you may wish to use a model that directly touches the body.

Bought the to upgrade from a digital oral thermometer we bought several years ago l. When I tested it against the old thermometer it was very close.

Works Fast!
The instructions were not clear in how to use. At first I thought the product was defective, but once I figured it out it works just fine. Just a little frustrating in the beginning.The problem I faced was that it says to push the button to read the temperature. You’re supposed to push it while its already close to the forehead. I kept pushing it away first, then bringing up to the forehead, which wasn’t reading. I know, its a silly complaint but it took me a minute to figure out!

Great thermometer. So easy to use, very convenient that it comes with the batteries needed. Instructions are helpful and easily explained. The different functions are good as well. My kids enjoy checking the air temperature and water temperature. The reading seems very accurate to me, I have checked the same child several times in the space of 10mins and the reading was the same each time. Great item for such a great price.
