Travel size, but big results!
I am very pleased with this product! It is the perfect size for travel and for your average nightstand. The instructions make it quite easy to figure out and the buttons are simple to understand. I found the perfect sound & volume for me and it has helped a lot! Fun wood design as well!

Works for its intended purpose…
This little sound machine comes preloaded with quite a few different sounds. The majority seem to be of high quality and this will certainly play as loudly as you’re ever likely to need. You get not only the machine, but also a USB cable and what seems like a power adapter that’s entirely adequate. (Of all the sounds it makes, only the railroad train comes across as a bit “contrived”.)Having had it apart to see what was inside, I’m fairly confident it does not in fact produce truly random noise. There is a tiny microcontroller with its identifying markings removed, a flash memory chip and a small audio amplifier IC. This tells me that the sounds are likely looped, though even if they are, it has been done well.I was a bit surprised that an audio input wasn’t included. It wouldn’t have been difficult to add, and I think the speaker is of good enough quality that it could easily reproduce music or other sounds. Maybe there is a fancier model where this is possible?

After a Year of Barking Dogs…, NOW I CAN SLEEP
Have been dealing with a pack of dogs across the street (a breeder) for going on 3 years now. Tried the Animal Control complaint form but it solved nothing. Started using ear plugs, but I hate not hearing anything. Finally bought this. It’s got several different noises. Tried one each night till I found the perfect sound. Sounds just like my HVAC in my house…, AND, I can adjust the volume.It has a small footprint and looks like a decorative block on my night stand.Still, I hate the idea that I have to buy something just to sleep in my own bed due to noisy dogs all throughout the night. Additionally, I like to be aware of my surroundings in case someone knocks on door, breaks in, or whatever. I admit any noise machine takes away some of that, yet with the volume control I think I’d still be able to hear external noises…, yet drown out the dogs.I finally got a good night sleep without awaking once during the night!

Not cordless, needs to be plugged in in order to work.
Nice, little unit, puts out a good sound. I wish it had an 8 hr. setting but to get around that I just leave it on all night. I also wish that it didn’t need to be plugged in in order to work. I, mistakenly, assumed that you could charge it and then it would be cordless, but, alas, it is not. Other than that, I like this noise machine! I found a setting that I like and it helps me to get a decent night’s sleep.

Packs a punch
This thing is great!I need dark noise to sleep because I suffer from misophonia. The dark noise blocks out the random little sounds from my animals or outside that keep me from falling asleep/wake me up and blocks louder noises outside during the day.I was using the dark noise feature on my iPhone but it would randomly cut off in the middle of the night suddenly, causing me to wake up. This noise machine is a quality upgrade.There are many sound settings, but I only use the dark noise. So I can’t speak to any loops. However, the variety of sounds is nice to have, and I think there is something for everyone.For its size, this thing gets LOUD. I love the volume range.There are two minor things i wish i could change. First, it would be nice if the control buttons were illuminated. They are small and in the dark you can easily hit the wrong one. HOWEVER, there are dueling buttons for each function (back and forward for sound setting, up and down for volume) so it’s easy to get back to where you want to be.Second, the timer function is the same button as the power button. You have to long press the power button to turn the machine on and off and short press it to set the timer. There are 5 pin lights to indicate your timer setting which is convenient. However, it is very easy to accidentally turn on the timer. Many nights I’ve accidentally done so and woken up to a silent room after an hour. Also, convenient to some, annoying to me because of what I’ve described, the timer setting remains even when powering down. Sometimes I accidentally short press before long pressing, don’t realize, so the hour timing is set when I turn it back on. If I don’t notice the pin light, again I wake up in a quiet room.That being said, it’s really a minor thing that I’ve mostly adjusted to. My muscle memory has developed to long press, but I thought it was worth mentioning for new users.All in all, I’d absolutely recommend this sound machine! It’s a great product for the price.

Best sleep and noise cancellation
Great product that is so easy to use. We travel with our sound machine where ever we go. My husband and I primarily use the white noise feature and we can barely hear the cars outside on a busy road.

I want another one!
This machine has a good, rich sound. It fills the room nicely to drown out other noises and the options are soothing and varied. My child loves to choose a sound to fall asleep to and then later, I’ll find my white noise of choice. Highly recommended. Good quality as well, he has played with it and knocked it around quite a bit and it still works well despite some dents in the speaker cover!

Once you settle on the sound that works for you, these things really do work.
Lots of options for such a tiny noise maker, such as morning birds, crackling fireplace, train on tracks, different sounding industrial fans, ocean waves. There’s a timer option, but since I have a dog that sleeps with one eye open, I leave it on all night to drown out truck and motorcycle noise. It does a pretty good job of that. I’d like to say I choose the birds, but I keep going back to a low tone industrial fan because it comes closest to basic white noise that just becomes a non-invasive part of the background.
