Great Heating Pad and Great Customer Service
I have gotten a lot of relief from this heating pad. I was wanting a far infrared heating pad and was glad to see that the UTK Far Infrared heating pad provides far infrared heating without any harmful electromagnetic field emissions. My UTK Far Infrared heating pad stopped working recently. I have had it for 2 years, and I reached out to customer service. I received excellent service, and they replaced the heating pad and controller free of charge. I would definitely buy this again.

CRPS patient reporting on most painful disease with FIR heating pad results
CRPS is considered to be the most painful disease because it consists of the slow death of a limb. I have had chronic pain and crps since 2006. Back then it was called RSD. Anyways im prescribed methadone to treat some of the pain. It does block a lot, even things not pain related. It doesn’t block all my physical pain though, infact I suffer greatly every day and this disease has high suicide rates. Im not giving up though. It was so emotional to use this heating pad for the first time. I watched them hit the market when they cost over $700 and I have waited years for the price to come down and now in the $125 range I can afford that. After turning on the pad it was very painful for me at first. The device is cold and rigid at first and it hurt a lot to tough my skin to it which is very sensitive from radiation burns from a traditional heating pad as well as heavy nerve damage. The net that secures the stones in place is not soft enough and scratches my delicate paper thin skin which hurts. Please replace the netting to something more like felt or silk. Something softer.After the pad warmed up I started to cry. This is where it got emotional for me. I have been struggling with chronic pain since 2006 and I put up a heavy shield to block myself from experiencing that pain constantly in my mind, and I have learned to never focus on my pain because then things get out of control as does my pain with my mind. So I learned discipline to control it. That all went out the window when the heating pad warmed up. After all these years I felt something I haven’t felt since before my injury in 2006, relief. Its like a massage from the inside deeply penetrating my injury in my foot I have never had pain relief in all the years I been injured since 2006. I tear up just thinking about how long I been suffering and how it can finally be over at least for now, well see how all this works out. I haven’t had relief like this ever, I been in chronic pain since 2006 so this relief js a huge deal to me because not even pain killers take away all your pain.Edited: I forgot to mention and explain the photo I’ve attached.This is a make it or break it situation i gather for some people who live alone and nay not have the required strength to plug the unit in from the heating pad to the units controller. When people say it’s difficult to plug in they are not just weak, it is for sure difficult. The connection is very tight and it doesn’t make a flush connection, as you can see in the attached photo I posted theres a pretty big gap of about 2-3 millimeters when it’s completely connected. Don’t keep trying to force it to be completely flush, I sprained my wrist trying, it really jd hard to connect. Im not saying its too difficult for the average person, with a bit of elbow grease you’re good to go, but you can also sprain your wrist if you’re not careful, and elderly may need assistance and anyone with muscle issues will need someone to put it together for them, however the good news is, once its put together you don’t have to put it together again.See photo attached for reference

Stops working after less than a year
I’ve purchased two – each stopped working after just shy of one year. In 11/24 I bought the deluxe set- the bonus soft heating pad was lovely but stopped working after only 2-3 uses – w the large heating pad conking out today after less than a year.**UPDATE** the seller very kindly replaced my heating pad swiftly after reading my prior review so I have increased to pour out of five stars. I really love this heating pad. It’s very special. I don’t love the cord because it winds all up over itself and doesn’t stay straight, but the experience with the seller, even though it conked out the fact that they replaced it without my asking was just above and beyond, and I truly appreciate it

Great Heat Pad
I like this heating pad and the control over the heating. It has a high heat level, the stones allow you to also get cool therapy if you let them sit near an AC. the timer is nice. the cord length is amazing. I have not tired to wash it. the infrared helps with inflammation and for me it works well. I have owned this for two years and its still going strong.

I guess this is my year 3 review!My girlfriend and I use this very regularly, and it’s been a lifesaver for both of us. It helps me with my lower back pain and spasms that I get, and she finds it very helpful for when she cramps. I’m writing this review now because I’m actually looking to buy a bigger one, and thought I should say that this thing is definitely worth the money!

pad with natural elements touching skin
the heating element works well. I do like the crystal/stone instead of electric pad or rubber. I use it on my cold tile floor. I sit or stand on it. I would go on for 2 min and off a minute to encourage blood flood and allow my blood vessels to expand and contract to encourage elasticity. 4 star because it is a little on the narrow side. when I sit on it my knees are not on it.

Absolutely best heating pad! Bought Oct 2018 and has been working flawlessly. Used for pain, blood circulation, neuropathy as an additional approach. (Lyme, ME, cancer, arthritis etc.).Very different to ‘normal’ pads we used before.Put towel over pad and if used under blanket at night we unplug it and it continues to give off a warm energy. Great feeling.Only problem now is cats are trying to stay on the blanket and my legs have little room.Got the large pad as well and both have really been so helpful in dealing with health issues.

Purchased this for my mum. She’s 85 and having a few challenges with pain in her legs. I took a risk and purchased as mum doesn’t usually go for any new or innovative products. I set it up on her bed at a comfotable temperature and she said that she probably wouldn’t use it. Followed up a week later and found she’s been using it 2-3 times a day. The pain hasn’t gone away completely but she said that using this product relaxes her and certainly makes her feel a lot better. This is great news and much better to have time out a few times a day to relax and recharge and makes for a better day. Long term results will be interesting. The cat loves it too!

I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my back and I was on the brink of bulk purchasing adhesive heat patches when I decided to look into whether infrared heat would be the better solution – I am glad I chose infrared and glad I chose UTK. I think this is a wonderful and much simpler solution since with a single purchase I can have as much heat as I want, wherever I want (not just my back) and I use this heat pad every day. I can very easily use it while sitting in my computer chair, running my own online business, or I can use it sitting up in my bed or lying down, relaxing on the couch, and apparently some people use them in their car as well. I find the heat really great, especially increasing or decreasing the heat at the touch of a button. So far this has been very comforting and has helped relieve muscle tension that spreads like wildfire whenever I have a section of my back twinging and playing up. I haven’t had this long enough to say whether it prevents pain or tension, but I can say it relieves it, and that I’m satisfied with my purchase.

You need to persevere with pad. Not the most comfortable as the pebbles dig into your back, so you think your back is still hurting, but once you remove pad, your back feels a lot better.
