Best ice pack for sprained ankles
As a long time basketball player I have almost 40 years of sprained ankles. It doesn’t happen often but I have experienced it many times over the years and it’s never fun. This theraICE ankle wrap makes it much more bearable. This wrap fits like a sock. It is very heavy and adds the right amount of compression without being difficult to put on. Very stretchy and comfortable to wear and it ices the spots that need it most. I have found the gel stays really cold for about 20-30 minutes which is perfect for an icing session. Gets cold again quickly in the freezer as well. My son also used this for a sprained ankle suffered in HS basketball and immediately said it was better than any of the old gel packs or ice bags we have used.Any athletes or parents of athletes should consider this to have in case of an injury. It also feels great just icing sore ankles from long days on your feet. The combo of pressure, heavy weight, and the cold gel is just perfect IMHO. Great product. I’m very happy with this purchase and have already suggested it to some other parents.

Convenient and effect ankle icing tool
Makes icing really easy and convenient.Fits well, extending from the forefoot to the lower calf muscle.A bit heavy. But I think that helps with insulation.Too thick to slip into a sock or shoe, but not so thick that you can’t get a pair of pants over them.Typical recommended icing time is ~20 minutes. These stay cold for at least half an hour when worn.On two instances, it has felt slimy/sticky, like some of the gel had leaked. I couldn’t find any leak and it hasn’t happened again, so I’m not sure what that was about, especially because I always keep it in its storage bag in the freezer when not in use.

Great product
I just keep these in my freezer now. They really work well just putting them in the refrigerator as well. I use them when I get home from work for half an hour to help with foot and ankle swelling. I have to put socks on first because otherwise they are just too cold on my skin. Plus I don’t want to put them back in the refrigerator or freezer after they’ve touched my feet. As far as helping with the swelling they really feel good. I turned them around one day when it was mostly my feet that were hurting instead of my ankles and that worked really well too it covered my whole foot and Soothe My aching toes.

While these wraps have provided valuable relief during my recovery, I want to be honest about their limitations.What Works Well:- Comfortable to wear and walk in- The gel padding doesn’t cover the bottom of the foot, which makes walking much more comfortable than if it extended under the sole- Provides excellent cold therapy relief for pain and swelling- Can be worn barefoot or over socks without losing effectiveness- Compatible with flip-flops and can layer over compression sleeves- Good quality constructionImportant Notes:- These are NOT true compression socks despite the description- Cold therapy doesn’t last very long (though this may be intentional for skin safety)- They’re a comfort aid, not a cure for serious injuriesI liked the first one enough to order three more so I can rotate them as they warm up. The cold relief has been genuinely helpful during this month-long recovery process.Reality Check:A month later, I’m realizing I likely have torn ligaments and will need to see a doctor anyway. Instant Relief and a Total Game Changer!
This is a must-have if you’re dealing with pain or an injury. My fiancé had pain at the bottom of his foot — we weren’t even sure what caused it, but it was cramping badly. He put these on, and within about 15 minutes he felt such relief! You could even hear his ankle gently popping from the targeted pressure points, and the tension just melted away. These wraps are absolutely amazing — comfortable, easy to use, and they stay cold for the perfect amount of time. We were so impressed that we ordered a second one just a few hours after trying the first. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate — you need this! You won’t be disappointed, only thankful you found it!

Best ice sleeve
This ankle-foot sleeve is the best I’ve found for ankle tendinitis swelling. Covers the whole swollen area, easy to slide on and stays nice and cold.

Easy to put on and great pain relief
These slip on the ankle/foot very easily and provide cooling relief. You can also microwave them if you need to apply heat. They are soft and flexible and get very cold in the freezer.

Stays cold
This is a clear winner. Stay cold for a 30 mi Ute icing and probably more. So nice to have forefoot, ankle and heel covered. Tight on foot but not uncomfortable. Pricy but worth it

This works fairly well but I did find it went from quite cold to warm fairly quickly. I intend to trial it on my elbow next and see how that effective it is as I think it will work better than on my ankle. It’s not faulty at all and this is how many ice packs end up. It is beneficial in that it covers the full area of the joint but I personally need it to stay cold for longer.
