Easy, high impact–not just for kids!
We love this journal. I got one for myself and one for my son to do in parallel. It’s simple and wondderfull effective. A great way to start and end the day, and takes I’d say less than 5 min. 2-1/2 min max in the AM, 2-1/2 min before bed. Highly recommend. It is simple, fun, and at the same time deep/very meaningful. It has actually taught me to relax and appreciate day to day life much more!

Great activity to share with kids.
My 8 year old has really taken to this. We started our Five Minute Journals together, it’s fun to look at them together every four or five days and talk about our entries. I feel like this is a beneficial activity that carries a lot of impact. I have a neighbor who passed away recently, I bought a set for his wife and son. My hope is that they will share the activity and it will maybe contribute to their healing process.

    Good elementary school journal
Nice journal for kids. My seven year old got interested in journaling from a cartoon. He’s not quite ready for a regular journal, so this was a good compromise. I got myself a copy of the regular version, and writing in our journals is turning into a short morning/evening activity for us. The kids book is basically a shorter version of the regular one – kids write 1 response instead of 3, and one of the questions is different (what did you learn). I’m liking this because it’s short enough that he doesn’t seem to mind the writing (very good reader, but dislikes writing). It’s also bound well, so it should last until he finishes the journal. This is a good journal for elementary school.

    My Grandson loves this.
I was hopeful this would be a great way to teach him the habit of gratitude. I bought his parents the adult version so they could develop Gratitude habits as a family. He is 8 yrs old and voluntarily started setting his morning alarm 15 min earlier so he can do the journal. He does the night part to review his day at bedtime. His statements have blown us away. He has become so much more aware of self and others. He expresses gratitude more often verbally now too. Great gift.

    Seen a change!
What a wonderful way to train kids brains to think positive and be grateful in life. My daughter enjoys finding things to be grateful for every day and finds the good and the joy in little things. It’s been super rewarding seeing this change in her. She loves her little positivity diary!!

    Gratitude journal
Simple. Makes my daughter feel like her mom. It’s a great way to start your child to think about being grateful.

Seems designed for an age group that wouldn’t use it.
Kids version for what age?? I love the adult version journal myself (I have given multiple copies away I think it’s THAT good of an exercise in changing though pattern) unfortunately I found this too juvenile – I think this books for “kids” is too advanced for grade school kids and too young for tweens. My 12 year old daughter would have loved this but she said it seemed like it was for young kids – we need more toolsLike this FIVE MINUTE JOURNAL – hopefully you are working on a TEEN VERSION – I can’t think of an age group who needs it more! Also the book is not as big as the adult one.

    Awesome.
Best purchase ever for my son. This has become one of his routines daily/nightly. I’ve been using the adult version for a few years now. Great for reflection and establishing mindset.

  9. Sara Dobson

My son loves this journal. He is not an avid writer, but he is able to complete his daily entries with open-ended prompts throughout. The best is that it really only takes him 5 minutes! The only suggestion I could provide if to change the date format, making it larger space and writing out the month or day. Great product.

  10. Lisa Farrall

My seven year old loves this. After going through a difficult patch at school it has helped her gain confidence in who she is. She understands her thoughts more and we can talk about them and work them out. She did the first five days challenge and has stuck to writing to it ever since.

It is difficult to buy a gift for a tween granddaughter. I selected this journal because it encourages positive memories and gratitude. Something the world needs more of. Both my granddaughter and her parents loved it. I will be being two more for her siblings’ birthdays. The pages are colourfully arranged and the morning and evening notations are short enough for am 11 year old to complete

  12. jemcurnow

The most amazing journal for my daughter which not only encourages her to write but gives a great insight into how she sees the world and has a really positive impact on her. I cannot rate it enough. Yes it’s expensive but it’s worth every penny!

  13. Christina S

My kids are so much happier since starting with these journals 7 months ago, this is an investment product that pays off – I have recommended to everyone and started to buy for friends and family. My sons each have one – 3,4 and 7 and it’s what we do as a family before best each night. Cannot speak highly enough about these journals!
