Love the color and texture of these Yoga Blocks
The larger size of 4″ width is perfect for doing my Yoga poses and for elevating my hips when working on my pelvic floor. They have just enough cush, so they don’t dig into my skin yet firm enough to support my weight for different poses. They have no smell at all, and they arrived in excellent condition. Zero marring on the foam and no scratches or dents. It does have the prop 65 warning on it, but this has become such a ubiquitous warning that California insists on that much of it is to be ignored. Unless you are chewing on these blocks there is no chance of transfer of lead. If there is any and we are not sure there is or how finite it might be since no testing is done, the foam polymers have it suspended anyway within the material. So, no chewing folks and all will be well. Enjoy your yoga blocks

    Good quality
I have had these yoga blocks for 11 years and they are still in great shape! I have had yoga blocks that crumble and break after so many uses, but these are really sturdy and they have held up well.

    Multi use beyond just yoga
They support you during poses, provide extra height, and make you question if you can use them as makeshift hammers in a home improvement emergency (hint: you probably shouldn’t).I once used one of these blocks to prop open a stubborn door. Let’s just say it worked… until the block got stuck, and I had to perform an impromptu yoga move to retrieve it. Namaste, indeed. Can these blocks withstand heavy use? While they’re sturdy, they’re not exactly indestructible. They’re designed for yoga, not Hulk-like smashing.

Also make for a great bookshelf / desktop speaker stand!
I just wanted to write a review on these Foam Blocks. No disrespect to the folks that use them for what they are, Yoga Blocks.I actually bought these for my left and right desktop, or bookshelf, speakers. For my purpose, they are awesome. My speakers are the Micca MB42X, and I needed to lift them off the desk about 6 to 9 inches, so these ProSource Foam Blocks worked great. The speakers are about H: 9″ x W: 6″ x D: 6″. So I stood both blocks upright together giving me a nice foam block speaker stand of about H: 9″ x W: 6″ x D: 8″. I wasn’t sure if one block for each speaker would work, so I ordered one set of 2 at first to test it out. I found it much more stable to use both for the left speaker, and ordered another set for the right speaker.Being that I ordered the Black Foam Yoga Blocks, and my speakers are black, it really makes for nice finished look. The rounded edges on the speaker cabinet and the beveled edges on the foam blocks just blend together quite well. Again, no disrespect to folks buying and using them for Yoga purposes, and no disrespect to ProSource for using them for another purpose, but I must say, they really do make a nice speaker stand!

    Get’s the job done
I’ve had very little problems with these blocks. I have noticed if my nail scratches the sides of them they do end up with a scratch mark. Also when I do downward dog they do give in and sink a little bit from the heel of my palm, but do bounce back afterwords. Not sure if this is due to the excessive weight I weigh, that I am trying to get under control and lose, or if it’s just the blocks themselves. I’m happy with my purchase since everyone else is charging a lot more for yoga blocks and not sure if the same things would be happening with a pair of $30 blocks. All in all, yes I would order from ProSource again.

Great for newbies and seasoned yogis- and P90Xers
I will admit that I had never heard of yoga blocks before (yes, go ahead and laugh at me) until I started P90X. After trying one round of Yoga X, it was darn near impossible for me to do some of the twists and moves without them. I’d tried yoga once before but Yoga X (much like a “power yoga”) was very different.I immediately went and ordered some knowing I wasn’t going to survive without them and the $13 was so worth it. The proportions are great since I can move them to achieve different heights that I may need in different exercises. They’re pretty firm but have a little bit of give to them when you’re resting your hands or a lot of your weight on them. They’re easy to grip and move around quickly if you need to adjust.A must if you’re doing P90x or a beginner in yoga. If you’re more advanced, I imagine they’d be a huge help in gaining reach in stretches etc.

A must-have for your home yoga practice!
If you have a home practice, you need blocks! Even if you don’t use them in your regular asana, blocks are a wonderful tool for exploring space, alignment and strengthening. I mostly use mine for restorative poses but lately I’ve been doing sun salutations and ab work with a block squeezed between my thighs. Try it, if you haven’t! Your core will thank you.For the price plus Amazon Prime shipping, these ProSource blocks are a must-have. They’re the same size as the blocks commonly used at most studios and they’re quite durable considering how lightweight they are. I’ve had mine for about 5 months now. They’re got some veeerrry mild scuffs on the surface (more like discoloration, really) but so far they don’t have any scratches, “dents” or signs of compression. However, if I owned a studio or taught public classes, I would think twice before purchasing these for students. The description says “studio quality” but I just get the feeling they wouldn’t hold up as long as other blocks if they were used by dozens of different people every day.
