3rd shift worker approved
First off let me say this is probably the 8th sleep mask I’ve bought this year. Most masks either apply to much pressure to my face/head or doesn’t completely block the light. As a night shift worker I’m consistently trying to find ways to ensure I sleep well and creating a dark space for myself.Lemme tell you this mask is absolutely PERFECT. It’s super soft with both a silky and a fleece type material. The fleece side is a bit warm but not sweating hot. As a side sleeper I drape it over my ears and eyes and I’m in complete darkness. When I roll over I find myself subconsciously grabbing it and readjusting but not to the point I’m waking up to do it.I highly recommend this mask for anyone who has sleeping issues.

The only thing I wish is that I bought the full satin one. When I replace this one, That’s what I’m going to get. I was told by my friend that it might not stay on my face during the night. I am a side sleeper so I was skeptical that it would work out. I was so wrong. It’s cool and feels so great on your eyes. It stays put and I rarely have to adjust it. Not too heavy and I am glad that I got black because we keep our TV on in the background at night. It blocks everything. I spritz it with lavender sheet spray for an extra dose of relaxation.

Deep sleep promoting eye mask
I heard about this product when it was mentioned in a novel as being used by one of the characters (the character wouldn’t sleep without it, so I was intrigued). I wasn’t sure if it was a real thing or not, so looked up “nod pod” on Amazon, and this product popped up. I thought it was kind of pricey, but since I take afternoon naps and dislike regular sleep masks that tie tightly to my head, I purchased it. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised! It’s weighted, so there is a slight pressure on your eyes that promotes sleep. It’s made of four “pods” of beads that can just lay over your eye area without restriction. I place the two center pods over my eyes, and the outside pods can be tucked over your ears to muffle sound. I experience hot flashes (I’m of a certain age) and because it doesn’t require being tied around your head, it’s easy to reposition. It can also be placed in the fridge or freezer for cooling. It states that you SHOULD NOT warm it as the beads inside will melt. Because I sweat on it sometimes, I also like that it can be machine washed and dried with a regular load of clothing. It comes in several colors, and has a cottony side for warm weather, and a velour side for colder weather. I sleep on my back, so don’t secure it, but it does have a way to attach it more securely around your head without Velcro (so it doesn’t snag your hair) if you sleep on your side or stomach. I find it blocks almost all light except during the brightest of my afternoon naps. I bought the sage color so if I crack open my eyes there is a slight green tinge. I suspect that if the dark gray color was chosen, it would block out all light. It’s very durable as I’ve washed and dried it several times without issue. I am very happy with my purchase and use it daily/nightly.

My review of Nodpod
I ordered this in hopes of improving my sleep. It has helped and I do love it. Wpuldve gave a 5 ,But I have a small issue, one of my pillows has hardly any beads in it compared to the other 3 pillows. Is that normal? Shouldn’t they all have equal amount or close to same bead amounts? Anyways , other than this issue, i like the Nodpod & recommend you give it a try.

As a side sleeper this has been a game changer for me, I no longer need to use blockout blinds. Nice and soft, it does slide off but I just put it back on.
