Get the orange/citrus
I started taking the unscented/plain version of these and was absolutely repulsed by the smell and taste. Please please please buy the orange ones as they are MUCH easier to take. I feel much more energized when I take these consistently. I have the MTHFR gene mutation so I can’t take vitamins with folic acid in them and need methylated folate instead, which these have. 10/10 recommend the scented ones.

I’ve tried several prenatal vitamins throughout my pregnancy journey, but Needed Prenatal Vitamins have been by far the most complete and thoughtfully formulated option I’ve found. Clean high quality ingredients
Needed is my favorite supplement brand by far! This prenatal multi is full of clean high quality ingredients. The dose for this one is 3 capsules/day and I haven’t had any problems with nausea while taking these. The price is reasonable for the quality you are getting. I will always repurchase these!

Hard Pill(s) to Swallow…
Every prenatal vitamin is different for every woman, but this one was a hard pill to swallow (literally). I ordered the unscented ones and they for sure had a scent that smelled barfy. What’s worse is you have to take 3 capsules a day. You could take one capsule with each meal, but let’s be real – what busy woman has time to carry around her vitamins and remember to take them with each meal (if she even has time for 3 meals a day) lol.I couldn’t even finish the whole bottle. I gave them to a neighbor who was expecting too.They may be great for some women, but this is just my honest feedback.

learn from my dangerous mistake
I bought these because of how “healthy” this brand and supplants sounded, 3rd party tested, suppose to be free of all major allergens, etc. I loved that it added more vitamins and minerals than average supplements because I have the MThfk gene and need it.But my god, once I started taking these all hell broke loose in my body. My lymph nodes closed up, I became constipated, I became incredibly swollen EVERYWHERE ( in just two weeks of taking these – that’s how long it took me to figure out these supplements were the problem- I become almost double in size), my ankles were so swollen and it hurt to walk, I developed weird rashes, my bones hurt, my muscles hurt, it hurt to move, I was constantly congested and had trouble breathing – my body was in full inflammation mode.Everyone tried to convince me it was normal pregnancy pains but it didn’t feel right so I stopped taking the supplements since they were the only thing I changed in my routine. I’ve been off of these for a week now and I feel like myself again, all of the symptoms and pains went away, bloating, water retention, everything is gone.Being pregnant, dealing with the change in hormones and body is painful enough, these supplements turned it into a living hell.I understand everyone’s body is different, seems like they do great things for some people – I wish I was one of those people – but I still wouldn’t recommend taking the risk, so with something time tested that is more gentle on the body instead.

Lovely prenatal!
I am eternally grateful i was introduced to this prenatal and i will never look at another one again!I have tried many prenatals and this one, by far, knocks its out of the park.I prefer capsules, just for the ease and my own peace of mind that i am getting as much of the quality ingredients as possible. The website provides so much information about the thoughtfully combined ingredients from qualified physicians that i am putting into my body for myself and my little girl. I have tried a sample version of the powder prenatal and found it quite delightful and so easy to combine into my smoothie without leftover residue or aftertaste. I can also attest to the collagen protein powder being just as excellent!This is my 3rd time going back for more and i plan to use these for the rest of my pregnancy, postpartum and any pregnancies, thereafter!

Great quality – just tastes weird
I love how well this parental works – but the taste and smell are not for me. I think the company and quality is great. Just wish the smell / taste could improve – lol! It’s a little on the expensive side for a prenatal but quality is what mattered most to me so I was happy overall! Only reason for 4 star is taste.
