Great for body aches!
These patches work great! They deliver a cooling and pain relieving effect to a targeted area. They work for more than just period pain as well. The adhesive is strong enough to not fall of accidentally, but not painful to remove.

These are like those patches for aches and pain, which I normally use for muscle aches and back pain but never thought to use for menstrual pain relief. It smells great, I personally love the smell of eucalyptus and menthol so I had no issues with it. It did have a slight cooling sensation once applied on my tummy but it was definitely not as cooling as I was expecting. I’ve used the patches for aches and pain and those were VERY cooling – this was a bit weak for me in comparison. This did stick very well, I had no issues with it coming off. It is quite thin, one of the thinner ones if you compare it with the patches for aches and pain, which could be a good thing if you want it to be hidden under thin clothing. I would suggest being careful when tearing the backing off because the material isn’t hard so it will crumple up in all directions. I almost got some of the sticky side stuck together and I didn’t want to waste any patches. The size is “XL” but I don’t feel like it is – felt kind of small to me. These come individually sealed so the good thing is you can put one or two in your purse if you need to use it in the office, outdoors, etc. Overall this wasn’t cooling enough for me and I didn’t feel enough relief. I’ve had more success with a heating pad, this just wasn’t intense enough for my cramps. I would still suggest giving it a chance because things work differently for different bodies, this could very well be something that gives you the relief you were looking for. This is made in India, expires in a little over 2 years from when I received this.

Not a very strong cooling effect
These menthol patches smell great and are easy to apply. They adhere really well – so well that I was concerned about removing the patch the first time I used one. However, it did peel off without any pain. It didn’t tear my skin or pull on my hair.The scent is lovely but strong. If you have cats that go crazy for menthol scents, you may want to be careful with wearing these around them.The patches are a decent size. When I first put them on, I do feel a slight cooling effect. However, it doesn’t last long at all. Probably within 10-15 minutes, there’s no cooling sensation whatsoever. If you want that strong cooling feeling that will provide significant pain relief, I don’t know that you’ll find these satisfactory. That said, even though the cooling feeling went away, these did seem to help me. I actually did forget about my pain for a little while, even after the cooling wore off.It’s not a terrible product, but I’ve found and used much stronger, more effective patches. These are probably best for people that find strong menthol patches to be too strong or just want some light relief.

Similar to regular HealthWise pain relief patches, but stronger
I recently ordered some HealthWise pain relief patches for my wife to use for neck or back pain. They contain 5% menthol, similar to products like Bengay or Biofreeze. From what I can tell, the main difference in these menstrual pain relief patches is the amount of menthol. They contain 10% menthol instead of 5%. But otherwise they can be used just like regular pain relief patches, not just for menstrual pain. My wife has been using these for a while and she says they really help her. She said the patches are more effective than creams because they are more concentrated and the pain relief lasts longer for her.

Small, portable, pain relief.
I put these in a bag for when we travel, and my daughter has one in her backpack. It isn’t supper effective, but when your not home, something is better than nothing.

Not quite effective.
Really didn’t care for these. First, the adhesion is very poor. I struggled to keep one on and needed to reapply with a fresh pad an hour later. Next, it did little to nothing for temporary relief from menstrual pain. Was honestly hoping for the best because my menstrual pain and aches are a little more intense, and ended up pairing am oral pain reliever with these pads. The menthol odor is moderately strong and honestly that’s fine with me, and at least it’s easy to wash it off. So it doesn’t linger strongly to your skin, which is good to know if you’re also sensitive to too much fragrance. I sadly cannot really recommend these, they are very ineffective and subpar.

My daughter gets some intense cramps. I’m always looking for ways to help her with them. As a dude, I have no idea what works and what doesn’t. But what I can say about these is the adhesive is not very strong.She said they don’t really seem to help her more intense cramps. But, she thinks they level out her more moderate cramps. So, who knows?

The patch is skin friendly and comfortable to wear all day. Sometimes the sticky side isn’t as strong as I’d like, but they get the job done. It did help somewhat, though it didn’t make a major difference for me personally. I would still recommend them for someone to try.
