The presentation is lovely with the dark blue cloth hard covers, the copper colored metal binding and matching copper colored ribbon to hold your page. To divide each week they put a page with a nice quote and pictured background. Totally gift quality, or to enjoy oneself! Worth every penny. I highly recommend.

    The fit and finish of this are VERY nice. The fabric cover and sturdy, golden double ring binding make this seem REALLY swanky.There’s a section at the beginning about why you bought the book and how you’ll use it, and the daily prompts are meaningful and nice.The biggest improvement I would make is to add some clarity around how you’re supposed to “rate” your feelings and their intensity each day, but overall, this is a solid choice on your self-reflection journey!

    When therapy got to be too expensive, I ordered this journal specifically because it’s research-based. Its focus is structured support to help produce real cognitive behavioral health. It’s obviously not the same as therapy, but there is a great deal of peer-reviewed evidence showing that narrative psychology—and writing, in particular—is genuinely effective at CBT. And the journal really does help with that. But it’s not easy!

    Please invest in yourself and purchase this journal. The various promts have made Journaling much easier for me as this has never been my preferred method of writing. Various initial pages have information that I had recieved from therapy sessions words for my emotions feelings, I wish I had this journal before so I could fully take advantage of my sessions.
