Double Wood’s Marine Collagen makes a great alternative to bovine and porcine collagen. I have learned that marine collagen is better when it comes to absorption. It is absorbed up to 1.5 times more efficiently into the body which means it has superior bioavailability over bovine or porcine types. This is due to its smaller particle size compared to other types of collagen. Also, it is rich in Type I collagen which is usually considered best for the skin. It is the most abundant type of collagen in the body. It maintains healthy bones, skin, hair, and nails.I use it in my morning coffee every day. It dissolves quickly and doesn’t clump. It doesn’t change or alter the taste of my coffee as it is tasteless and odorless. And it has its scoop included in the jar! Simply makes life easier with the perfect amount every time. Mixes in Readily, and No Fishy Taste!
I had been taking another brand of marine collagen for a couple of months before trying this one from Double Wood Supplements.The Double Wood Supplements Marine Collagen dissolves in a glass of water much more readily than the other brand I had been using, with much less clumping. Very little clumping, in fact, which is a definite plus.It says ‘Unflavored’, and it truly is unflavored! No hint of fishy smell when I open the canister and sniff the fine grain powder inside, and no fishy taste, either! That’s a win-win.My 63-year-old skin continues to notice the benefits of using collagen powder – it is much more supple. My nails are strong and healthy, too.Highly recommend!

Almost perfect!
I’ve bought three containers so far and they have been consistent in terms of quality. The only thing I have really noticed with this product is the protein in it helps me have more energy and feel less shakey when I drink my coffee. So far I haven’t seen noticeable skin results but maybe it takes more than a few months to see. Otherwise I will probably keep buying this because it also has no taste and is a great addition to my coffee. Dissolves really well too!

I researched several Collagen supplements before deciding on this one. I am allergic to milkSo Doctor suggested I take a fish collagen.Just the Collagen as do not need all the extra vitamins and fillers other companies put in their products! On the label that states In this product: Fish!!!Just fish Collagen! Hair has grown four inches since April. Nails are longer and stronger and need clipped as don’t break! Skin is clear, soft and hardly any wrinkles!!

Doesn’t have an after taste. Fairly easy to mix. Better blended consistency with a hand mixer or blender. You can add to just about any food or drink. I didn’t care for it in water personally. I feel like it has made a difference for me as far as a good collagen supplement.

We’ve tried a number of marine collagen supplements, and like Double Wood’s version the best. Been supplementing an elderly relative’s diet, where there’d been complaints about the volume of food needed if relying solely on solid protein. This is also after initially experimenting extensively with various bovine collagen supplements. Double Wood’s version mixes the best, and is nearly tasteless. We mainly use it in hot or cold drinks, in soups, & in morning bowls of cereal, but have also added it to eggs & casseroles.The elderly relative can’t use vegan protein supplements, because of certain mineral spikes that were occurring in monthly blood tests. Our elderly relative’s clinic doctor is now happy with how this marine collagen protein supplement has settled down the blood test results.
