quality and setting controls
This is a warm and cozy heating pad , heat level is great , love the adjustable settings and it is easy to use and easy to read. i have not used the belt attachment yet but can see it being nice when needed. Quality is great and fabric is cozy soft. you will enjoy this heating pad!

A must have!
This is my 3rd heating pad and by far my favorite one! I work in a physical job which cause pain daily. I often need some form of relief and do not like taking medication. This arrived on Friday which was fast and on time. I used it for various areas and felt relief quickly. The size covers a bigger area and because it’s weighted it stays in place! The controls are easy to use and the heat distribution is excellent. You can also use the timer so it turns off on its own, rather than accidentally falling asleep while using it. Great for migraines!
I was a big fan of Bob and Brad; and now of Brad and Mike.I have purchased other products branded or recommended by them and have found them all to be of good quality and functioning as offered.I love this heated pad; it is large and soft. I use it to help with migraines and lower back pain. I take it on trips and although sometimes it ends up being packed pretty snugly, it is showing no sign of damage.I love the temp controls and timer.

Inadequate Heat Level Even on Highest Setting
I am revising my original review and changing the star rating from 2 to 4 stars solely because the customer service displayed by Bob and Brad was so phenomenal, I have to give credit where credit is due. Although they did not offer me a replacement heating pad (I had returned it for a refund), they did offer and sent me a mini massage gun. The massage gun is very helpful in providing sciatica pain relief as well as working out other aches and pains. Although I am still hoping to find that perfect weighted heating pad, the massage gun is a welcome compensatory gesture which I greatly appreciate.PREVIOUS REVIEW:I was really excited to purchase this after seeing a weighted heating pad being used on videos for hip pain. It seemed to have everything I wanted including beads to add weight and retain heat, a soft fabric, multiple heat and auto-off settings. I purchased this product rather than the cheaper “old version” which carries a warning that it is frequently returned for heating issues. I thought for sure that whatever was causing that issue would have been worked out with this new and improved version. I was wrong and am SOOOOOO disappointed. The pad never gets beyond a luke warm heat level even on the highest setting, even when left on for more than a half hour. It is completely worthless for providing enough heat to be at all therapeutic. I hope they figure out what the issue is so people don’t keep getting their hopes up for a quality product only to be disappointed and have to return it, which is also extremely inconvenient.

Indeed a True Far-Infrared Therapy Pad
A few weeks ago I reviewed this item with one star, expressing my disappointment with Bob and Brad for misrepresenting their product which, I said, is not, in fact, a far-infrared heating pad because it does not use direct infrared emitters. The issue as stated in my earlier review was this:In this case, the heated object is the ceramic beads, which CAN EMIT far infrared radiation. But the user sets the heat level, and the user has no idea what wavelength will be emitted by the selected temperature. At heating pad temperatures, the peak emission is actually in the mid-infrared range, though some far infrared is produced, again, depending on the actual heat level. It is therefore misleading marketing to claim that this pad provides far-infrared therapy.It turned out that this device was better and more thoughtfully designed than it appeared from the description and I want to state now for the record that the Bob & Brad team lived up to my earlier expectations. In response to my first review, they have now added new information on Amazon documenting the science behind its design, information that is very useful. One of the questions I raised earlier was that – while potential users are told that they may “Choose from 6 customizable temperature settings (109.4°F–145.4°F / 43°C–63°C)” – the user doesn’t know what temperature setting to use to maximize the far infrared emission. Because this is not explained in the information provided on Amazon, I think it would be useful to repeat here their personal response to me about this. “The operating temperature of our product is preset between 43°C and 63°C. According to the well-known physical principle — Wien’s Displacement Law — the peak wavelength of thermal radiation is inversely proportional to temperature. Calculations show that within 43°C to 63°C, the peak radiation wavelength falls perfectly between 8.6 μm and 9.2 μm, which is right inside the beneficial far-infrared range.”That means as the temperature rises into the range of 43°C to 63°C, the emitted wave length becomes shorter, leading to the emission of infrared radiation. I expect that it is not as intense as pads using direct emitters that cost hundreds of dollars, but it does just what we want this pad for. I used the word, “personal” above because now I can also say that they really do take a personal interest in their products and in those who buy them. And I’ll add that the pad itself is excellent (I didn’t mention that in my first review because it was only about infrared emissions).

Gets nice and hot
I was skeptical because of other reviews that said it didn’t get hot enough, but I haven’t had that issue at all. It gets nice and hot and relieves muscle tension wherever I need. I really like the length, it can cover a large area of my back all at once. I really like that it’s weighted, it makes it very comfy. The fabric is very soft as well. I also like the timer option, my old heating pad didn’t have that. I hope this lasts a long time.

Not warm enough!
3 stars because even though the material quality and weight feels very nice, the heating is not good. The highest it can go is 6 but that is only lightly warm, anything below is hardly noticeable!

Not much to say other than I love this thing. Weighted, heated, and auto shutoff. Many people complain about there being no “always on” mode (it’s always timed), but for me safety is a priority. So I’m very glad it will shut off automatically every time.

Perfect weight, not too heavy. Heat is very good for me, gets pretty hot. Bob and Brad, please make a much larger pad, but one that doesn’t weigh 5 or 6 lbs. Most bigger weighted pads from China don’t last long and are much too heavy, especially for women. Seems to be very good quality, hope it lasts longer than a year, as the others I have bought from China don’t. Have a Bob and Brad massage gun and I love it.

Had my heating pad for a couple months and it stopped working out of the blue. Customer service was amazing and they shipped me a new one within days! I love the size of this pad because it gets my ankle and knee in the same session.
