These made a great gift for my friend who was having a rough time. They’re funny and the cards are nice quality, about like playing cards. And they’re under ten bucks. If you’re looking for a white elephant gift, this is a good option.

Too many errors 🙁
I truly wanted to like these and was really looking forward to them, but my initial reaction was a bit disappointing, and by the time I finished reading the whole deck, it was clear that quality control on these was not a thing.Too many typos, for one. Initially I thought the typos were there to draw emotion to the cards. But it goes deeper. There are missing words, words completely left out. There are missing spaces, joining words that make no sense being one word. Then there are smaller inconsistencies. Sometimes after a comma they use a space, sometimes not. Sometimes they use commas, sometimes not. Sometimes they use dots, sometimes not. Sometimes the text goes wide with fewer lines, and sometimes it gets broken into many lines of text. And it’s not like the breaks help with the flow or give it a punch—they’re just broken into random lines. Even if the typos were fixed, I’d still have no use for these cards, whether for myself or as a gift, as I didnt find most of the messages empowering.As far as quality, they are thick, but feel like fake trading cards that would come in cerial boxes, as I mentioned in the video. Also, some cards have 4 tabs near each corner where you can tell the machine that cuts them left imperfections. Not a big deal, but makes it feel less professional.

Cards are very motivational they keep me going through out the days and weeks it’s always a reminder to just be motivated and whatever you do just always strive for greatness. Nice little pocket side cards.

Bada$$ Affirmation Cards
Was not impressed with this deck…The cards can barely be considered cardboard, they are a very thin and very cheap cardstock, and there is no coating. The decorative aspect is barely there and not impressive or notable in any way. The content of the actual affirmations did not meet my expectations.What I would have expected, at this price point, is for the cards to be made of something a little more substantial or coated with some kind of protective film – even if it’s a glossy finish of some sort – these are akin to the decks of cards you used to get for free on airplanes. Actually, those cards were better quality than these – they at least had a thin protective coating…I would also have expected the subject matter to be more consistent with the “Bada$$” affirmations topic. Some of these would show up in any affirmations deck. Surely you could come up with 64 humorous sayings that fit the “Bada$$” theme – I mean, I could come up with them. These will not work for their intended purpose, which was to give someone who HATES the typical “affirmations” and give her something she can appreciate.Overall, not impressed with these at all. Two stars.

Affirmation cards for adults as a gag gift
These are affirmation cards. Most are funny or affirming. Many use swear words a lot, often when its not necessary. People need to know that as the cards they use in the description page don’t reflect all the swearing. It would not be good for a young person or easily offended by swearing type person. There were some errors in the spelling, but frankly these are more novelty cards so I wasn’t expecting perfection. With the thought that these are gag gifts for adults, I think it’s a good product for the money.

I had ordered these as a gift for my niece who is reclaiming her life. After reading the other reviews regarding the poor quality, I did not give them to her. Lucky, because it would be an embarrassing gift of cheap quality.
