Excellent quality!
Excellent, quality, comfortable pad. I use it when cooking a lot as to provide cushion from hard tile floors. I put it back in box and away in my pantry after I use it. Super easy to sweep and wipe clean it. Very comfy pad and it’s been a lifesaver for my ankles and legs when in the kitchen a long time. Love it. It’s thick. It’s not too heavy, great quality. I put it back in the original box when not using it. Great back support for me too. It makes a difference for me when I use on my hard floors.

Great mat to have in the kitchen and beyond.
My brother gave me one of these when his company moved to a new office space. The mat is durable, easy to clean, does not skid on a hard surface and comfortable to stand on. I purchased a second one to replace a much thinner mat then this one that her cat was tearing to shreds. That is what is great about this one, it is too think for him to dig his claws into. It is well worth the price as the one I was given has lasted years in our house and even longer in the kitchen of my brothers business.

Really good for a few hours
After trying a bunch of mats for my standing desk, this one proved to be near the top but still falls short of offering support for 8 hours. It’s a foam mat that is lined in a thin plastic layer. The tactile feel leaves something to be desired, but it is nice, squishy and comfortable to stand on. It offers great support for about an hour or two, but doesn’t quite hold up to an 8 hour work day. I eventually felt my bare feet bottom out to the hard floor again.In spite of the anti slip material underneath, It still did drift a little throughout the day, but all mats seem to do that to an extent.For the record, I’m now using a GelProElite and loving it.This product is good for the price point, but I’d suggest paying the extra difference if you truly plan to use it a lot.

These make washing the dishes almost enjoyable. Only because they are so comfy and cushion-y. I have had these for a while now and they clean up pretty well. I have noticed a bit of wear on the corners, but nothing too bad. I would definitely get more or purchase as a gift.

Wow this mat is AWESOME and has made a HUGE difference in our kitchen. We cook a TON and so have to clean a ton too, and we’ve both had foot problems standing on the linoleum in the kitchen. I was really surprised how high quality this mat is — it’s pretty thick, dense foam-like material. I will be buying like 2 more to basically cover every spot in our kitchen where we stand (in front of the sink, stove and coffee maker/counter space). For now we move it around as needed, which is a moderate pain in the neck but, you know, that ranks pretty low on the life problems list. For the price this mat is a home run — WAY cheaper than competitor mats. It’s also got a nice AmazonBasics logo on the bottom. Yeah, you can’t see it, of course, but I really like it for some reason. This mat stays put too. It does *not* move once you put it down, which is a plus. We were actually using an old yoga mat in the kitchen, which we tripped on cause it’s curled on the edges. Finally I found this mat and thought the price was low enough to try, and man I’m glad I did!GREAT GIFT IDEA TOO! We sent pics around to family members like “hey, look what we just got” and they all like to cook too and were like “woah we want one too!” So for Christmas this year we’re going to be buying like 5 of these for friends and family. So that’s done, which is nice.

great as a comfortable standing desk mat for socks even after 6 years; only problem is corners curl
Highly recommended for comfort but only in non-traffic areas because the corners curl up about 2″ and the center of the edges lift about 3/4″. I bought my mat in 2018 but curling still seems to be a problem based on more recent purchase reviews.I purchased this mat in 2018 for standing at my work/personal desk, and I have hit my foot on the curled corners or edges less than five times in 6 years. I habitually step over the met edge (the center edge lift is about 3/4″) when arriving at the mat so tripping is not a concern considering I walk to and from my personal/work desk 20-30 times a day going between the kitchen, bathroom, etc (6 years times 52 weeks a year times 7 days a week times 20 arrivals a day is about 1 foot hit for every 8500 arrivals – I use this mat at my desk which is for work and for personal use so I use it everyday, several hours a day).Several times I rolled the mat top-side-out – it’s hard to roll this mat – to try and get the edges/corners to lay down. Once I rolled it and held it down with the weight of my 70lb office chair for several days but after a few days the corners recurled. This mat shipped to me rolled bottom-side-out and has never laid perfectly flat.The only reason why I am replacing this mat is because my wife occasionally (rarely) comes into my office to look at my monitor and more often than not she hits her foot on the curled mat edge or corner. She considers this a tripping hazard. Even though no one has ever stumbled, she recently asked me to find another mat. Based on the searching for ‘curl’ in reviews, I am buying a GelPro elite mat (it’s nearly 4x the cost but I couldn’t find any $50-$90 mat where people left 4-5 star reviews while mentioning ‘curl’ like the GelPro elite).This mat has been comfortable with socks for day long work/personal use for years. I try not to stand for more than 30 minutes at a time but sometimes I stand for 2-3 hours in place, slightly and occasionally shifting around my weight on my legs and or walking in place for a few seconds every few minutes.
