Easy to operate and accurate readings.
The oximeter function was used because my wife had shortness of breath. Low reading can be dangerous. I took her to an Urgent care and compared readings , they were spot on, the same. Easy to operate and 2-AAA batteries. Pulse worked well. I recommend it for anyone.

I recently had abdominal surgery and was experiencing some difficulty taking in a deep breath so I went to the emergency room as anyone should of course — all my tests came back normal, and my pulse-ox was in good range. More or less I purchased this as a backup peace of mind device for home use, so when I experienced that feeling, I could check and ease my feelings of panic. We’re still working out what may be causing my personal symptoms, and while this is obviously in no way a substitute for professional medical evaluation and care, it is a great item to have on hand to measure an essential reading.I find that the readout is accurate, and I like that the side display light gets low bar or stops if the device is not placed correctly on my finger. A simple adjustment gets the readout going again. Do understand that this is a continual read device and doesn’t give a final, static number.Couldn’t be easier to use. I do recommend getting some quality AAA batteries to install, as the included batteries may have been sitting for who knows how long.Again —— if you are using this for medical interpretation rather than athletic etc., —– Please make sure you see your own medical team for proper treatment and documentation. Do not use home monitoring devices in place of professional care – ever.

FAST AND RELIABLE
THIS IS A GOOD DEVICE FOR GETTING A FAST INDICATION OF YOUR OXYGEN LEVEL. AFTER FIVE YEARS OUR FIRST ONE IS STILL GOING STRONG AND WE JUST PURCHASED A SECOND ONE TO KEEP IN OUR RV (SO WE DON’T FORGET TO PACK ONE EACH TIME WE TRAVEL). BATTERY LIFE IS GREAT, ONLY REPLACED BATTERIES ONCE IN FIVE YEARS.

Makes Monitoring Easy
This is the second oximeter I’ve bought. I bought this same item for my mother, a couple of years ago after a bout of pneumonia. She is 99 and uses hers daily, along with her blood pressure monitor. And now I’ve bought one for myself following a diagnosis of sleep apnea. It is easy to use and a comfort to have as I need to keep track of my saturation levels. And the batteries are included – so you don’t find yourself having to run out to the store! The lanyard is easy to attach and makes for convenient carrying. Highly recommend.
