Nice looking and works well
Fall and winter here the sun doesn’t hit my living room, and I need sunlight! This one works great. In the picture I have it on the brightest setting, but as the day goes on I continue to take it down a notch periodically, kind of mimicking a sunny day outside. It would be nice if the base were wood, not plastic, but I couldn’t find anything anywhere near the same price range with an attractive wood base. But very happy with this purchase and its effects!

My favorite lamp in the house.
It took me a long time to figure out I had SAD, as I’m someone who historically speaking has really loved fall and winter. My body however doesn’t agree and really plunges health-wise during those months. I’ve owned a couple of lamps designed to help with that, but absolutely none of them have inspired the kind of love I have for this one. I’m a huge fan of this design more than anything: kind of reminds me of the Ivory Tower a bit from the Neverending Story, which was why I was initially drawn to it over the others available at the time. It exudes gentleness and I feel measurably better when I have it near me. For the money, it’s a no-brainer honestly, I find this price extremely reasonable for the relief I get from it. Its footprint is small enough that it’s fit easily on any surface I’ve moved it to without any issue, and the cord is long enough to give you some flexibility as to how high you want it. I want to say I’ve had this unit for a couple of years with no sign of wearing out despite daily use, so positive marks for longevity.I don’t know, I guess I’m a biased judge, but I’m serious, I really rely on this thing. Out of all the ones I’ve tried, this one still reigns supreme for me.

Definitely Helps
I got this light last year when it was super gloomy and the sun was never out. It was nice and definitely helped brighten the room I was in and put me in a better mood. I would have realistic expectations for what you’re getting though because it’s not like its the sun in the room with you but it does help take away some of the gloom on the gray days.

Stylish and effective lamp!
LOVE this lamp! I love the stylish design, and I love that it is lightweight, portable and easy to set up. Feels sturdy in spite of being lightweight. It’s easy to move around the house with me as I don’t always spend time in the same place every morning (though I did just buy a second light to help with that!).I’ve tried so many other lights and ultimately returned them because they were just too ugly and space inefficient for my home.Have just started using it, starting to feel a little peppier in my step and life. Since its not a total eyesore in my home I will use it long enough to see how I feel long term.——-UPDATE 2025-06-23I’ve been using this light solidly for a month and a half and it is life changing! I’m happy, I no longer require naps, I wake naturally earlier and sleep earlier (which was a goal of mine).The change has been so significant I even recommend this for people who may think they get enough light – I didn’t realize the significant impact this has on our well being. Unless you’re completely drenched in light all day you may not be getting enough light.Highly recommend this very stylish, sturdy, lightweight light.

A rather white light instead of warm
The bulb was too white for me. There were variations on the color, but I wanted a warmer glow.
