Smaller than expected
The containers are smaller than they were expected. I mainly use the small container for coconut milk chia pudding for breakfast and the big one for meal prep. I’m no big eater, but it still feels a little bit too small in my opinion. The pill container fell apart from one drop and something broke so I didn’t manage to use it anymore. I like how convenient the bag is. You can hold it, however you like with or without the strap and there are side pockets for water and phone. The bag and container all feel super light, however, the ice pack is not lasting. I leave house for work and arrive within an hour and a half, and the ice packs are no longer cold in the bag. The bag looks neat and cool, and it’s pretty easy to clean.

This bulk of this review pertains to the product and its compatibility with the Hot Logic Mini ( https://www.amazon.com/HotLogic-Mini-Personal-Portable-Oven/dp/B00EC7XJ28 ).I got this bag to compliment my meal prepping and to carry my HLM. Having forgotten about all the awesome items that come packed inside of this bag, I unzipped the front compartment to see if I could fit up two HLMs inside. I pulled open the flap and was presented with 6 nice-sized food containers with locking lids. I was beaming when I saw the bonus items. One packed Hot Logic Mini fits inside (trying 2 HLM’s was a hassle) with additional room for either snacks or 2 more food containers.Will the containers melt or warp in the HLM?Two of the larger rectangular containers fit snugly inside the Hot Logic Mini and did not melt or warp. There was no strong plastic or chemical odor either. This product’s plastic portion-control containers with locking lids held up great, and best of all, they came free with the bag. Meal prep container costs add up, so getting 6 free containers of good quality is a substantial incentive to getting this bag. I previously used the glass Snapware with locking lids.But wait, there’s more!The shaker cup has removable lower compartments to efficiently and cleanly transport your powder(s) and maybe even a small-portioned dry snack like raw almonds, trail mix, or cereal in the lowest compartment. Instead of a ball that conks around the inside of the container, there’s a disc-like insert. After adding your liquid and powder, you simply place the disc above the liquid, where it remains in place, but effectively breaks up and mixes the powder. I really LOVE this system. There’s also a free cold pack and a pretty cool dispenser for supplements or pills.Ease of carrying.There’s a built-in, sturdy fabric handle (which I use), as well as a detachable strap for over-the-shoulder carry. Carrying the bag by the handle, it felt sturdy, lightweight, and not at all bulky. I stashed the carrying strap in the zippered side compartment, along with my iPhone. The entire bag felt sturdy and of good quality, down to the stitching job. As a prior small business owner, I can truly recognize that it was designed by someone who actually cares about the product they’re presenting and the experiences their customers will have with it and all included components.So there you have it. This system is a great, cost-effective and efficient kit for the meal prep movement. The included containers were leak-proof (in my experience), and work well with the Hot Logic Mini. If you want to avoid fast food or strange additives, lead a busy life, or spend long hours away from home, I highly recommend meal prepping. This all-in-one system is a great solution and quite honestly, you’re getting a lot for the price. If you tire of cold food and want it hot, I recommend getting a Hot Logic Mini (if you need it to cook for you while on the road, get a 12V to 120V inverter that plugs into the cigarette lighter). As stated earlier, this bag can carry an HLM packed with 2 of the larger containers from this system, along with extra containers, fruit, or other items. As a nursing student who also works full-time, there are some days I don’t even get to come home and both products are a lifesaver for me! If you are this busy (or busier), you should consider this system, as well as the HLM (if you want to enjoy hot food on the go, while on business trips, etc…).I love the ThinkFit Insulated Lunch Box system. I love my Hot Logic Minis. I love Amazon! I ordered this lunch box, in the color black, exactly 60 days ago and I’m still very pleased with it.The bag is very durable and made with quality materials. It features a shoulder pad, adjustable shoulder strap (which is also removable), a mesh cupholder on one side, and a zippered compartment on the other side (which comfortably holds my full-size Samsung Galaxy phone (as well as money, cards, my badge, etc). The bag also has a heavy-duty, reinforced handle if you’d like to forgo the aforementioned shoulder strap. The main interior compartment includes a wide mesh pocket for storing the included pill dispenser or whatever else you can think of. All zippers are heavy duty. The logo is tastefully displayed across the front of the bag.The bag came with 6 meal prep containers – 4 large and 2 small. They’ve proven to be just as tough as the bag! I’ve carried a vast assortment of foods and nothing has leaked or popped the containers open. They’ve also been through the microwave and dishwasher (top rack) with no warping or staining. I did see some comments referencing the size of the containers being too small; for someone who regularly meal preps, I found them to be sized perfectly – both large and small. The 6 containers provide adequate food for my entire shift.The bag also came with an approximately 16oz shaker cup (just measuring the actual portion of the cup that holds fluid), which includes a pill compartment and 2 extra storage compartments that both screw to the bottom of the bottle. The bottle does what it’s designed to do, but I wasn’t entirely pleased with the durability. The flip top lid is removable but does seem a little flimsy as I accidently removed it with very little ease when I wasn’t intending too. I also feel the compartments that screw on were a touch flimsy too, but only with relation to how easily they screwed onto the bottle. I did like the spring whisk attachment. Overall, the bottle is definitely a great benefit to the bundle, I just prefer something a little tougher.Also included were a 7-day pill dispenser and two ice blocks. They do exactly what they’re designed to do. No comments here!In totality, this has been a phenomenal bag. I routinely work 12-hour shifts as a first responder (with the occasional 16-hour shift thrown in) and I have never had a problem with my food staying cold. The bag has held up to everything I have thrown at it so far, and it still looks amazing. It’s been easy to clean, doesn’t hold onto food scents, and doesn’t leak.For being advertised as a “complete meal prep system” this has been spot-on. Everything has been as-advertised and I’m legitimately pleased. I’m also glad to see the company offering individual sets of the 6 portion control containers for purchase – and even those are reasonably priced. They’ll be my next purchase, as I regularly work 3 days in a row and sometimes, I’m just too tired to wash everything between shifts. Great product! 10 out 10 – do recommend!
