Love to be able to tell Alexa to turn on my light before I enter it
Once I got it connected to Alexa, which I had to go through the company that was the name brand then they make you down home life and then connect it and then go back to Amazon and then they have to try the device. It took me 3 1/2 hours to get the light to work but when it did work, I’m completely satisfied, but it was a pain in the tail to get it to work?

This little light is great I can control it from my phone or I can take it off the stand and carry it around the house which is awesome because in the mornings I can’t turn on the light in the bedroom because my husband’s sleeping while I get ready for work so I can just take this light turn it on lower setting Use it to get dressed.

Great concept
I really like the idea of detachable lamps. They stay plugged in and they can moved around when necessary and put back. This one has the extra feature of being WiFi controlled.But mine had a serious problem – it was very finicky about charging. I don’t know if I got a bad one, but it would not charge by placing it in it’s base. I’d have to fiddle with it and rotate it to make it charge. I ended up returning it.

Update – a few days later, and the routine is doing random colors, not the 3 colors I set it to. I got it on sale, so I’m keeping it and it can sit in a corner, but I’ll have to order something different for the timer function I was looking for.Original – Easy to install it’s companion app Smart Life, and from that app, it links to my Alexa. I was able to set up a routine w/ it which is just what I wanted for!!! It serves as a timer! With ANY COLORS I want, it doesn’t have to be red yellow green for go warning stop. I can choose any color for any duration at any brightness through the Alexa routines. And of course it has a bunch of other modes for ambiance.

An adequate light with a below-average stand
The smart light from LPMYLMC offers a decent range of colors with a fairly easy-to-use app but lacks customizability when it comes to the direction of its output.Immediate impressions of the light are that it’s extremely light-weight (to the point of almost feeling cheap). Once you get it setup be sure to give it a full charge as I wasn’t able to pair the app with the device until it had completed a full-charge over night. That said, once the charge was complete pairing was fairly painless.If you have any experience with a smart light, using the “Smart Life” app will be very straight-forward. You can quickly switch between colors and adjust the intensity with just a few swipes.I found the range of brightness to be above average whereas the colors were just decent. For the price, I think you’re getting decent value here but the colors all struck me as a little too saturated. I can’t quite put my fingers on what it was, but it always felt like the blues were too blue or the reds were too red. That said, backing off the brightness helped with this but then reduced the illumination to a level that was just below my liking at times.My one complaint has to do with the stand itself and the relatively limited range of motion. You can use the light in two ways once it’s fully charged:1. Remove it from the stand and place it on a flat surface and point it upwards2. Place it and the stand where it will “lock in” to a fixed 30-45 degree up angleThose are your only two options.The unit advertises a 360 degree horizontal rotation (which there is and it works fine) but make note of that lack of any vertical rotation. The angle you see in the pictures is the angle you get. I had hoped there would be some degree of customization but there is none. Just something to keep in mind.In the end, I’m currently using the light as a “backdrop ” of sorts at my desk at night when the family goes to bed. It’s nice having a variety of color options to illuminate the wall behind my desk at night but I wish there was more flexibility in how I could project the light. As it stands, I have to place the light further back from the wall then I’d like to ensure it hits at just the right angle. Keep that lack of directionality in mind if you’re considering this item…otherwise, it’s a pretty decent little light.

99% off lights in my house are smart lights so I speak from experience, this light is great! It installed and connected quickly. It recognizes the commands flawlessly. It is so much fun! It can can also serve as emergency light because it does not have to be plugged in to work, so it’s rechargeable. I can give it to my nephews and nieces to take with them to bed when they sleep over and don’t want to be in the dark. Absolutely love this lamp!Will make great gift too!

I was very disappointed with this flight. I had high hopes for it from reading the description. I did not feel that this light lived up to its description. It felt very cheaply made and it was bulky. I could not find any place in my home that this would look good in. The colors I felt were very dim and they seem very washed out. It did connect to the app will and easily within a few minutes. It does connect to Alexa and can be controlled by your smart home system. That was one of the major things that Drew me to getting this. You can take the top off of the base and it’s rechargeable. That was one of the positives that I found out of this light. Maybe this light would work better and need more fitted for a children or teens room? I also feel that the price is considerably too high for what you’re getting. Overall, I do not recommend this for my purposes. Maybe you have a different use for it than it will fit you.

Wir haben zwar ein paar moderne LED Tischlampen, aber weil diese Leuchte mit Alexa bzw. Google Assistent zusammenarbeitet, habe ich sie mir gleich bestellt. Gerade die Beleuchtung in Wohn- und Esszimmer steuere ich schon seit langer Zeit per Sprachbefehl und da kommt mir diese Leuchte sehr gelegen.Ein wichtiger Grund für mich ist, dass die kompatiblen Apps bereits mit vielen smarten Produkten zusammenarbeiten. Dabei handelt es sich um die Apps Smart Life bzw. Tuya, wobei ich seit einiger Zeit Tuya verwende, die problemlos mit Alexa zusammenarbeitet.Das Einbinden der Leuchte in das WLAN geschieht über die App, was innerhalb weniger Minuten geschehen ist. Ein Konto muss ich schließlich nicht erstellen, weil ich bereits mit Tuya arbeite. Die Verbindung mit Alexa ist noch unproblematischer, denn sobald die WLAN Verbindung steht, merkt auch Alexa, dass eine neue Leuchte vorhanden ist und umgehend kann ich das Gerät per Sprache steuern.Allerdings stelle ich zuvor noch gewisse Feinheiten über die App ein, die ich aber ab diesem Zeitpunkt kaum mehr benötige.Die Tischlampe funktioniert ausgezeichnet, wobei sie noch die Besonderheit hat, über einen Akku zu verfügen, der per Induktion aufgeladen wird. Dazu setzt man die Leuchte einfach auf die Ladestation und schon wird der Akku geladen oder man lässt das Licht ganz am Stromnetz. Dann braucht man den Akku nur, wenn man die Leuchte z.B. im Freien verwenden will. Laut Hersteller hält das Licht im Akkubetrieb etwa 2 Stunden durch. Das mag richtig sein, denn neben der jeweiligen Lichteinstellung, besonders bezüglich der Heiligkeit, verbraucht auch die WLAN Verbindung Energie.Zusätzlich bietet die Leuchte auch noch einen Timer und reagiert bei der entsprechenden Einstellung auf die empfangenen Geräusche bzw. die abgespielte Musik oder den Ton vom TV. Das alles wird über die App geregelt, denn an der Leuchte selbst findet sich nur ein Netzschalter.Der Preis von 54,99 € kann noch durch einen Gutschein um 5 € reduziert werden. Wenn ich daran denke, was vergleichbare LED Leuchten von Philips Hue kosten, ohne dass diese über einen Akku verfügen, dann halte ich diesen Preis für angemessen.Von mir bekommt die Tischleuchte 5 Sterne. 🙂

Mit der LPMYLMC Smart Night Light Tischlampe erhält man eine RGBW Lampe, die man vom dem Ladeständer abnehmen und somit überall mit hinnehmen kann. Geladen wird diese Lampe dann, wenn man sie wieder auf den Ladeständer legt. Ein magnetischer Pin erleichtert das Platzieren.Für die Steuerung kann die SmartLife oder die Tuya-App verwendet werden. Wer diese bereits kennt und im Einsatz hat weiß, dass die Einbindung sehr einfach ist, da der Assistent das Anlernen sehr simpel gestaltet. Anschließend ist die Nutzung der Smart-Speaker ebenfalls möglich.Beachten muss man nur, dass man ein 2,4 GHz-WLAN-Netz zur Auswahl hat.In der App kann dann die Farbe und Helligkeit eingestellt werden oder Farb-Vorlagen genutzt werden.Die Farben sind satt und hell. Das gefällt mir.Negativ finde ich die Akku-Laufzeit, wenn man die Lampe ohne Verbindung zum Ladefuss benutzt. Dann hält diese maximal 2-3 Stunden. Und auch im Standby-Modus ist der Akku nach einen Tagen leer.Das komplette Aufladen dauert dann schon 4-5 Stunden, wobei man am Gerät nicht erkennen kann, ob der Akku nun voll aufgeladen ist oder nicht.Auch wirkt die ganze Verarbeitung und auch die Materialien (einfacher, stumpfer und harter Plastik) sehr billig. Für einen Preis von 50 € hätte ich mir da etwas mehr Qualität gewünscht.Fazit: Diese Lampe leuchte schön, hatte schöne RGB-Farben und Weißtöne und ist (für eine kurze Zeit) auch tragbar einsetzbar. Das Material und die Verarbeitung ist für den Preis aber zu billig.Somit hat mich diese LPMYLMC Smart Night Light Tischlampe leider nicht si ganz überzeugt und es bleibt bei 3 Sternen.

Die Oberfläche fühlt sich angenehm angummiert an.Die Lampe besteht aus zwei Teilen, die nur an einem festgelegten Punkt magnetisch zusammen haften. Das heisst man kann den oberen Kegel nicht beliebig neigen.Man kann allerdings den oberen Kegel abnehmen. Zum in der Hand halten ist dieser dann zwar zu klobig. Aber wenn man es irgendwo hinstellt, dreht es sich automatisch auf den Rücken und bescheint die Decke.Zur Steuerung / Inbetriebnahme gibt es eine App für Android und Iphone. Eine Zugangsmöglichkeit über einen Windows/Linux PC wird in der Anleitung nicht erwähnt.Die App bietet die Möglichkeit zur Registrierung, aber erzwingt diese nicht. Man kann die Registrierung überspringen.Problematisch wurde es bei mir, als es um die Konfiguration des WLANs ging. Man muss natürlich das Passwort für den Router eingeben. Das Gerät akzeptiert aber nur eine eingeschränkte Passwortlänge. Und das Passwort meines Routers ist für die Lampe zu lang und so nimmt es mein Wlan Passwort nicht an. Somit habe ich nur die Möglichkeit das Wlan Passwort meines Heimnetzes zu verkleinern oder auf die Nutzung der Lampe zu verzichten. Da ich mein Heimnetz nicht abschwächen will, ist die Lampe für mein Heimnetz völlig ungeeignet.

Meine Rezessionen mache ich unbeeinflusst, oft auch kritisch, so dass ich meine Ehrliche Meinung wiedergebe.Die hier gelieferte LED Lampe, machte nach dem Auspacken einen optisch wie qualitativ guten Eindruck. Diese Lampe wird ihr neues Zuhause in unserem Gästezimmer bekommen. Der große Vorteil ist, wenn vorhanden, dass man diese Lampe mit Alexa oder Google Home Sprachsteuern kann. Besonders gut finde ich, dass man hier eine App (Smart Life oder Tuya) nutzen kann, die viele eh schon auf dem Handy haben.Das Einbinden ging schnell und problemlos. Danach hat man mit der App ein Mächtiges Werkzeug, um diverse Dinge steuern zu können.Tolle Farben, schöne Szenen, sogar eine Weck- und Einschlaffunktion alles vorhanden. Und wer möchte, kann das Ganze noch im Takt der Musik leuchten lassen.Wer dann das Licht noch auf der Terrasse oder in einem anderen Raum genießen möchte, ist auch noch ein Akku verbaut, der bis zu 2 Stunden die Lampe funktionieren lässt. Bis diese wieder ans Stromnetz zum Laden muss.
