This would be a crazy coincidence, if it’s NOT from this exact supplement! Let me explain. (Weight loss mentioned/metabolism booster.)I found out that DHEA is good for women who wish to improve egg quality for conception, so I bought it. Then at my OB I found out that my DHEAS were low. I never had those tested before, if they did, I never knew about it.It should have been 32-hundreds I believe, and 32 was the lowest for someone my age, and my number was 16!!!!!!! Was that why I didn’t get pregnant in 4 years of trying? Was that why I could not lose a pound no matter how little I ate or drank, nothing would speed up my metabolism, so much so that I was seriously concerned, like.. what’s going to happen when I’m older and go through menopause and stuff (fear). I was so nervous I’d gain weight without trying and be obese one day, when I used to always be slim.I never had any issue with weight gain or my metabolism, I always stayed slim, and one day everything changed on me. I thought maybe it was the big 4-0, but now I no longer think so. I think the low DHEAS were it. I also was aging faster the past couple of years. I know it’s normal to age but that fast?Ok, so I did not talk to my doc first and picked this up OTC. May I add that I take elavil the past 30 years after getting hit by a truck and suffering hideous headaches, concentration issues, and it seemed to fix a chemical imbalance and promote sleep, and got rid of my migraines, and depression that came with that, so it was a win-win.Over the years I weaned down quite a bit on my dose, but stayed on a light dose. This medicine has not affected my mood in the least, my sleep or my mensural cycles.. just to make note of, which are things I heard can happen- nope! Maybe at very high doses, but no negatives for me.Last month, I got message to my primary doctor, also a cardiologist on this and asked. He saw no harm at this dose at all, I was happy it didn’t concern him in the least, and usually docs aren’t keen on supplements, and he’s Noo dummy, and just two days ago was my appt, and he reran the DHEA test for me. I may get those results today. I’m curious to see how this has helped that number. I never knew too little dhea could cause things like aging, infertility, weight gain, etc.Guess what? With ZERO other changes to my life, I am down 10 + lbs. since I started this. When I say nothing worked, nothing worked, and I think I will have to stop it to stop the weight loss, which i don’t have a HUGE amount I wanna lose, but it started while taking this and has continued. No extra exercise or any changes in diet. I never expected it, but am happy!I have not had my AMH rechecked, nor have I had a retrieval (IVF) to see about my eggs, but many are put on this supplement as part of their fertility protocol, so I do think it can help, and low levels can cause fertility issues. Wish I had figured this all out sooner. I never knew! Knowledge is power!But it would be very strange that I couldn’t lose an ounce for nothing, and on this my numbers are going down and I am getting my old shape and body back, feeling better about myself than I have in years. 10, 11 lbs. lost really DOES make a huge difference on me visually. Everybody tells me I look great, and lost weight. This is the literal ONLY thing that changed, adding this supplement and the timeline fits, so I’m very pleased. My metabolism has very obviously been boosted!I’m 99.999% certain that bringing up those levels helped me lose weight. Another 10 lbs. I’ll b happy! It did not have any negative impact on my moods, no insomnia, no bad thoughts or feelings and no cycle changes at all. My period is still right on the money.Right now I must say I’m a big fan. You can bite these in 1/2 and start out with 25mg. I would not take more than 50mg unless my doctor said I needed to, but though I only saw him the day before yesterday, my husband saw him last month and I had him ask on my behalf if it was safe to take, and he told me that I can.. it would not hurt me and he would recheck my levels when my appointment came.I’m super curious to find out my level now, as I was on it at the time. But seriously, I do believe this sped up my metabolism, I’m looking better and so I’m feeling better! No negative side effects to make note of. Life changing, but not for anyone with cancer!
This NAD booster has been life changing. By the time you reach 40, your bodies natural production of NAD has decreased by half. Taking this NAD booster has effectively restored both mine & my husbands stamina at work, energy for life, ability to focus and quality of sleep by leaps and bounds. The results are immediate & the cost is definitely worth the payoff. By about month 3 you start to feel a plateau in the “feel good” feeling, but we’ve been on it for about 5-6 months now & the benefits have remained. This is a great option if IV NAD is not in your budget. Do your research, as the booster (what Nicotinamide Riboside is) has higher bioavailability than NAD (Nicotinamide Adonine Dinucleotide) on its own. The booster helps your body create its own NAD vs trying to supplement with NAD as the molecular structure is too large to be used by the cell, resulting in only about 10% absorption. The addition of resveratrol aids the booster in this process. I have nothing but positive things to say about this supplement and would highly recommend it to anyone, with the exception of anyone who has battled or is battling cancer, as this supplement speeds up cell regeneration, which also impacts the speed in which cancer cells can duplicate.

They were good, I suppose. Not “bad”
Took these to help with my mood. Seemed to work ok. I mean, I was not all upset and stressed when on these but could have been placebo. When I was finished I didn’t buy another as I wasn’t 100% sure it was “really” working. I did not feel like something was missing after I stopped taking them. Like, I didn’t HAVE to get another bottle as being addicted or saw a major change when stopped taking. I’d say for the price, give it a shot. Just check with your Dr that it’s ok to take.
