Love this Vegan Vit D & K2!
This stuff really helps! Not easy to find a good vegan vitamin D. Finally found a professional kind from lichen that is micellized, tastes great, and doesn’t bother my stomach! I can easily take it with a meal. Add 5 drops to your food, spoon, or in your mouth. Ideal if taken with another fat, but this does contain MCTs from coconut oil and cold-pressed castor bean oil that helps absorption as Vitamin D is fat soluble. Other brands I’ve tried, the MCT has bothered and upset my stomach a lot, but not this one! Woohoo! I previously tried MRM’s vit D & K2 too but unfortunately, it just didn’t work for me. Lab numbers weren’t improving nor did I feel any different. With Pure TheraPro Rx, I feel a difference in sleep quality, mood, immunity, etc. I’m happy with it and will get my lab numbers checked soon after taking at least 3 months. Oh and this contains vitamin K2 from chickpeas as well which is nice to have the 2 together. Thank you!

Easy to take.
This supplement is a very light oil with little or no taste. The dose is administered by placing drop(s) under the tongue. (I wish all vitamin supplements were this easy to take.) It works very well for me, and I have recommended it to friends and relatives. I am a woman in my mid-seventies. Each year when I have blood work done for my annual checkup my doctor comments that my Vitamin D levels are good. I have been using it for at least five years.

Looks wonderful, by sources. Does that matter?
We hoped to LOVE this — balanced amounts of vitamins, a liquid dose that we can divide, vegan (no alpha-gal), made in USA, even has a bit of MCT oil in it. It tasted amazing when we thought it should have been bland like MCT oil, and we thought that it might be contaminated. But the manufacturer said that flavor is a good thing, that it means the ingredients are as they should be. We had lots of questions, the manufacturer was really helpful, and we are thankful.We are worried though, because medical websites seemed to say that vitamin k supplements, even high quality ones like this one, can be a bad idea because the body can’t absorb and filter them as well as it can for K in whole foods. So K from supplements can build up to unsafe levels in the body quickly even though there is no known upper limit to K from whole foods. Plus, we learned from this supplement that we are VERY allergic to sunflower, even high quality like this. So we are giving this supplement strong stars but also giving up on it and going to lots of broccoli for K and a mushroom supplement for D. Thank you anyways and best wishes, Pure TheraPro.

My family‘s vitamin D levels have gone from low to very healthy since taking this supplement. This company‘s customer service provides excellent support, answering all of my product-related health questions in a prompt and very professional manner. They helpfully point out that boron and magnesium are important nutrients to have in your whole foods in order to maximize the absorption of the vitamin D. I would also add that zinc is very helpful for this purpose too. A diet rich in organic vegetables and moderate fruit will provide all the boron, magnesium and zinc you should need, although my family also takes a chelated magnesium glycinate pill supplement. A good source of both magnesium and zinc is sprouted organic pumpkin seeds. Good sources of boron include organic sprouted almonds, organic hazelnuts, organic apricots, organic sprouted walnuts, red kidney beans, lentils, to name a few. Of course, the best form of vitamin D is produced on skin by the sun. Living in the Northeast, we only can get vitamin D from the sun less than half the year, and only between 10 AM and 2 PM, but we make sure we do get maximum skin exposure to the sun short of burning for 20 minutes or so every day that we have sun during this time frame. I would recommend doing a Google search for the vitamin D sunshine calendar to determine the availability of vitamin D from the sun year-round in your region. But even during the time of year that we can get vitamin D from the sun, there are plenty of cloudy days when we rely on this D3 supplement product, so we end up using it year-round. We take between 5000 to 20,000 IU daily as needed. In a time when vitamin D is so critical to immune health and fortifying our bodies against viruses, this D3 supplement is a real lifeline!
