I’ve tried a lot of protein bars over the years, but these ProGo bars genuinely blew me away. Right out of the wrapper, you can see they’re made with real ingredients, no mystery binders or chalky aftertaste. The texture is soft and chewy, with just enough crunch to keep things naturally satisfying. Being that they are gluten‑free and sweetener‑free they are, I can snack without worrying about artificial ingredients or bloating.Flavor-wise, the Salted Caramel Crunch stole the show for me. It strikes a perfect balance of rich caramel flavor and a hint of sea salt that makes each bite feel indulgent without being overpowering. It has a little sprinkle of coconut that adds another layer of flavor and texture. It’s like treating yourself to a mini dessert, but with 21 grams of protein to power you through a busy afternoon.The other flavors are great, too. Gross. I am a protein bar fan, let me start with that. I like most brands because they all taste similar. I’m not a picky eater either. These are greasy, the outside of the package was greasy and the protein bar was so greasy I felt like I couldn’t wash it off my hand. I had the coffee flavored bar but it had a hint of blueberry. I got the starter pack and will probably throw the other 3 away, and I hate wasting food. These were 3.75 each so a huge waste of money. I really wanted to try them, seemed like they’d be good but seriously save your money. These are terrible and who knows what all that grease is.

High protein and excellent healthy ingredients.
Protein and healthy ingredients. Overall taste. I tasted a tootsie roll type consistency. Covered in a glaze maybe and the texture was very chewy. The blueberry coconut had the best flavor. I would grab for one of these due to the protein and ingredients. Maybe they just taste too healthy for me. I usually buy a brownie like texture protein bar.

It’s hard to find a bar that feels indulgent but also provides health benefits, and these fit the bill.That said, I found the bars to be a bit dry. They’re not crumbly thanks to the new formula, but I did feel like I needed a drink to wash them down. Although the product is high in protein and is made from high quality ingredients, this would be the only reason I would buy this product again.A group of my teammates and I tasted the product and the overall consensus is the texture is the part that was disliked the most. The flavor was okay, the blueberry coconut was the best in flavor and aesthetic-wise was the most visually appealing. It was the best flavor, but the product would still be given a 3.8 out of 5. I think the biggest part is the texture.The bars were not crumbly, but they also were not extremely soft and easy to eat. Depending on the person and what they value in a protein bar would determine whether or not I recommend the bar to said person. I have friends like me who place high value on the grams of protein in the product (like me) and I have friends who think that the “Pop-Tart” protein bars are high quality.I think that maybe adding in more fruit flavors would be really good additions. I also think a yogurt line could really enhance your product and reach a larger audience, a Blueberry & Vanilla yogurt, a Strawberry & Vanilla Yogurt (with chunks of Strawberries and greek yogurt), Peach & Yogurt (with chunks of peaches & vanilla greek yogurt), a maybe a maple & brown sugar flavor would be good too (unless that’s too much sugar haha). I think all of these would be fantastic ideas to help enhance the product line.
