A useful tool for new runners
This is a decent heart-rate monitor, not a great heart rate monitor. It’s also $20, which means it provides great value relative to its price. For $20, this turns a pair of sneakers into a quantified running plan, allowing you to push yourself and prioritize recovery. It connects quickly and allows you to record heart-rate and calculate HRV.With time, you’ll probably migrate away from this to something more accurate, but this is perfect for people getting into the hobby. As a bonus, you can also use this for HRV training or similar. Again, it is not perfect, but for $20 it’s solid.

Great for machines at Planet Fitness/any gym
Great value for money. After downloading iCardio app, it literally took 2 seconds to pair, no hiccups. Also seamlessly paired with the ClimbMill at Planet Fitness, where I can have the machine adjust its speed to keep me in a range that I choose, without having to hold onto the heart rate sensor bars the entire time. The only tiny feature which would be great would be an indicator light to flash when in pairing mode, stay solid when in use, so you don’t have to guess whether it’s working when or out of battery–this was my frustration with my last heart rate monitor… but for the price, I’ll take it.

Surprisingly good
I’ve been using it 2-3x per week for the past few months and it’s never had problems. It pairs easily with my Apple Watch so I can just start my workouts on my watch like normal and the only difference is that the heart rate monitoring is coming from this device, rather than my watch (which saves my watch’s battery!). The HR monitoring with this device is much more continuous than my watch’s, which would sometimes cut out for stretches during my workouts. I’m able to wear the strap under my sports bra and I don’t notice it on. I’m surprised at how well this thing works for the relatively cheap price, so I’m very happy!

Inconsistent connection to Peloton
Inconsistent connection to Peloton after 6 weeks of daily use, very disappointing. I had an older model moofit that lasted me 5 years and the only reason I needed to replace it was because the elastic stretched out. I went to buy it again and Amazon suggested this newer model so I thought I upgraded. I was wrong and now the return window is closed. Will probably just have to buy another of the older model. I may have just gotten a bad one.*Update – the seller reached out and replaced the product, even though the return window had past. I really appreciate that. The new product works well and I’m sure it will last me for years.

Do it for your heart!
Purchased this HR chest strap to use with my bike computer (Coospo). Connects quickly via ANT+. Very comfortable to wear, and chest sensor is similar in size to other most expensive models. Allows me to monitor my heart rate during my workout. Recommend using a small amount of conduction gel for best results. Connects via Bluetooth to most popular fitness apps to keep track of your workout.

Reçu rapidement. Capteur cardiaque excellent. Il suffit de le clipser sur la ceinture thoracique puis de mettre celle-ci sur soi sans oublier d’humidifier les électrodes qui touchent la peau, ensuite activer l’appareil en bluetooth sur le smartphone. J’ai choisi “Polar beat” comme application, c’est nickel, j’ai le suivi cardiaque en direct lors de mon activité sportive. Je fais du vélo d’appartement et au départ j’avais pris une montre connectée Xiaomi, c’était nul, le suivi cardiaque ne fonctionnait pas sans doute à cause de la sueur. Ce capteur ci fonctionne à merveille, voir la photo ci-jointe d’un graphique après une scéance de vélo d’appart.

The HR8 heart rate monitor has been used constantly and the battery is still going strong. It’s comfortable, stays in place on the chest, and connects easily to my phone. I’d recommend reading the manual, especially about wetting the silicon part that touches your skin to help it stick better. The monitor provides accurate readings, feels good quality, and offers excellent value. I’d definitely recommend it.

Ottima fascia. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Morbida non da fastidio. Si è agganciata immediatamente con il Garmin forerunner 235 con il sistema ANT+. Dopo il primo collegamento, l’orologio riconosce la presenza della fascia quando è collegata e sospende automaticamente la rilevazione del battito cardiaco al polso.Usata tre volte per running oltre l’ora di durata nessuna interruzione della registrazione. (p.s …non l’ho utilizzata come bluethoot per app smartphone )La fascia si sciacqua facilmente dopo l’uso con il semplice getto d’acqua di un rubinetto … chiaramente previo distacco del componente elettronico . Lasciata asciugare è pronta per la prossima uscita

Der gut verarbeitete Brustgurt ist auch für üppige Menschen angenehm einzustellen, anzulegen und zu tragen und funktioniert, es sollte sich jedoch kein Metall in der Nähe befinden, das stört die Verbindung. Zur Montage auf den Brustgurt braucht es etwas beherzte Kraft, aber das sorgt für einen guten Kontakt. Als App für mein Android 15 Handy hab ich mir bei fdroid (eine Plattform wie Google Play nur ohne Google ) die kostenlose App “Pulsar” geladen. die meckert zwar, das ihr mein Android 15 zu neu wäre, keine Updates usw, aber funktioniert, wie ich es mir gewünscht habe: zeigt den Puls, schön gross lesbar und eine Stopuhr, die fortlaufend die Zeit der Pulsmessung misst.
