The Crème de la Crème of Raw Almond Butters
I’ve tried many raw and not-raw almond butters over the past year and this is hands-down my favorite one and I keep coming back to it. It is expensive but in terms of flavor, texture, and overall mouth appeal, it is worth it if you want your almond butter raw and organic.Artisana Organics Raw Almond Butter is the same price but is slightly larger (14 ounces VS. 12 ounces for the Maranatha). However, flavor-wise it just tastes like someone ground up a handful of unremarkable almonds. I’ve also tried Gopal’s Sprouted Almond Butter (same price but smaller, 8 ounces) and that one is tasty but a bit too thin and oily. The Maranatha has a very smooth, slightly sweet flavor that is unique compared against the other almond butters I’ve tried. The texture is not too thin and not too thick, but just right. And it tastes awesome right out of the jar.If you are just starting to venture out into raw almond butters, I would recommend this is as your initial purchase. Then, if you want to try others you will be able to compare them against this one and see which one(s) you like best. I always have a jar of this brand on hand even if I try others, just to test them out.

This is THE BEST brand of almond butter by far.Unfortunately it is too expensive for me, so I rarely purchase it.Delicious and clean tasting.

Trying to cut out butter or margarine for a healthier diet? This is perfect for your morning toast. You’ll never miss the margarine again. Also has many health benefits. I also appreciate that it is in ALMOND oil. No palm oil. Delicious taste and is easy to spread after it is sufficiently stirred.

VERY EXPENSIVE! Not sure it is worth the price- but it is lighter, and has a good flavor- dont think I will spend the $20 on it again- this is a “DONT BUY” because of the price point

Great flavor, quite smooth but very expensive and almost never in stock
Very good one ingredient almond butter with no add on’s, which is a plus ! However, quite expensive. In fact, when you pour away all the oil, you’re only left with a little over 1/2 to 2/3 of the container with actual almond butter. Also, almost never in stock.

By far the best almond and peanut butter I have ever had that is clean, organic and creamy. Best choice in taste and consistency. Wish they had a hazelnut butter.

Packaging changed to plastic
For context, this item was delivered and not picked up in the store. Had I been in store, I would not have purchased.. This brand was one of my favorites- simply delicious. Unfortunately, now that it’s packaged in plastic, I will switch back to Artisana as there’s no such thing as non toxic plastic and I don’t want a side of chemicals with my nut butter. So disappointed.
