Worth the extra few dollars
This is my first time since being a child to try a humidifier. Growing up in the mountains of Colorado, my parents had me keep one in my room. I didn’t know why, but I had to keep the reservoir full and listen to it gurgle furiously all night. Fast forward 30+ years later and things have changed. Humidity impacts me in ways I never knew. Skin, eyes, mouth, lips just to name a few areas that have gotten more troublesome over the years. So gradual as to not even notice until recently. Dry mouth at night was the tipping point. Gels, mouth wash and such and nothing worked. ChatGPT suggested… a humidifier. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, it occurred to me that some time during this dry mouth period we replaced our home AC. I noticed even though I couldn’t explain it, without changing the temperature I was much more comfortable at night, with fewer sweats and it struck me like a Mack truck that MAYBE it was due to the modern system being better at… removing humidity! It made sense. Then, putting 2 and 2 together I realized maybe ChatGPTs suggestion was not as dumb as it sounded. I was still a little hesitant to just jump and start reversing the benefits of the new AC system, but thought I would give it a try. I grudgingly started looking and holy cow! It’s a multiverse! It’s like buying a car! Do I go with the stripped down base model, or jump to the platinum? I finally landed on a stripped down bedside model, but then this caught my eye. For a few more $ it added tech. I thought I probably wouldn’t use it, but it’d be nice to have and boy was I wrong! The tech has made it so easy to use! I schedule it to turn on and off, and maintain a set humidity vs manual on/off and static humidity settings. I’m very happy I spent the extra few $! Not to mention it does not have the problem others have with awkward filling methods. This has a removeable, top filled container that isn’t too heavy. I look forward to seeing if this helps with dry mouth and without getting greedy, dry lips, eyes and skin too!

Wake up without a dry nose!
Started this winter with a month old baby and waking up with a dry nose. Shopped around and liked the large water container and built in night light. Only use at night, last night before bed it said 32. I turned it on thru the app and set it to high manually and within 10 to 15min it was back to 50. If I had to make a negative about the device I would say the auto setting. If u set it to 50 it will run till it reaches 5 over the set limit then won’t kick back on till 5 under the set limit, Isn’t a big deal I just set it to 52 and havent had any issues. The app charts how humid it was is nice plus, even when its not turned on it still senses the humidity and charts it. Night light brightest setting in photo, not to bright to burn the eyes mid night wake up, but still bright enough to light the room for that diaper change. My month old baby quit having a stuffy dry nose as well. The weight of this unit is light empty, easy to refill just pull top right off its base and fill it up. Holds alot of water close to a gallon. My 500sqft bedroom is no issue for this unit.

Works great for our living room (8x5m)I also got it to work in home assistant.I bought this model specifically for using it in home assistant and because of the good reviews.+: Big tank, silent, clear display, the cats stay away from it, app works great- : You have to create an account (I read somewhere that a credit card is needed. This is not true!).If the company takes down the service, the home assistant integration stops working.All together a great machine!
