So far this thing is great, it doesn’t push me forward in the chair like the big thick support cushion I’ve been using for years, I can pump it up to the exact amount of back support I need and it does an excellent job.Now mine is black on both sides, it looks like a lot of people were getting one that was red on one side and black on the other but mine is all black, now if you pick it up and move it it makes a lot of noise it almost sounds like it’s made out of like some sort of plasticy stuff but when I’m sitting in the chair I can move around in the chair a bit and I’m not hearing it making any sounds so if you pick up and bend it you’ll probably hear a little bit of noise but sitting in the chair it’s very quiet. The strap is great it comfortably fits around my office chair, not sure how it fits around the car seat yet but but should work great even on a wide back office chair. I can adjust the strap for a really nice snug fit and it’s not stretching the heck out of the strap or anything.As far as build quality I mean it doesn’t really look like much, it looks kind of cheap and crappy but it’s actually pretty nice, as long as it doesn’t start losing air at some point I think I’m going to love this thing, it actually has a zipper on the side and if you unzip it you can see that it is a plastic bladder in there, you would kind of have to take the hand pump off of the hose in order to get it out of there but I assume you could probably do that if you need to wash the cover, not sure that I would want to but pretty sure you can if you need to, I don’t really want to try to take the little pump off of the hose but looks like that’s an optionBut if you got back pain and you need a good back support that seems like a very good value for the money,. So as long as this thing last I think I’m going to be very happy with it

Eases Back Pain
I bought this inflatable back pillow for our trip to Europe. It was a great help on the long airplane trip and also while touring on the buses. I have back problems and I found this very useful to relieve my back pain. Because it is inflatable it is easy to fold in my luggage or purse as we traveled. It is also helpful that it has a strap that can be adjusted and attached to my back. I recommend this inflatable pillow.

Back Support Pillow
This pillow is okay, but not as comfortable as the inflatable pillow that I had before. I only ordered this particular pillow because Amazon was out of the inflatable pillow I really want. The only advantage of the back support pillow is you don’t have to blow it up with your mouth. It has a bulb connected to it so you can pump it up manually. I plan to reorder the inflatable pillow when Amazon has it again.

If I’d known it was half red I would have purchased another unit. Other than that, I do like the pump feature, which also includes a button to release air. The strap is good, although like most of these units, it does require adjustment before you get in the car, since it slips down. A 2nd strap at the top might help that; maybe I’ll try adding a strap with glue.

Great Product – Leaked After 3 Days – Easily Fixed with a Zip-Tie
This inflatable lumbar cushion is an ingenious idea. I loved it, except that it self-deflated after three days of infrequent use. I had seen other reviews that complained of this lumbar support leaking after a short time. I didn’t want to return or exchange the cushion since it seemed more trouble than the cushion is worth. I’m an engineer, so I investigated for the possibility of a repair. I used a scissors to make a small cut in the fabric cover to expose the source of leaking. The hose from the hand-held air pump to the flexible inflatable cushion connects to an inflatable plastic “envelope/bag” inside the fabric cover. The hose actually slips onto a small hard plastic fitting (or “nipple”) and though which the air passes to inflate the cushion. The hose is fastened by friction fit to the nipple. For my product, the hose easily pulled off the nipple and allowed the air to escape. The connection isn’t very secure. So, I pushed the rubber tubing back over the nipple fitting, but this time I secured the fitting to the nipple with a “zip-tie.” The inflatable cushion works like a “charm” now! This inflatable cushion is such a good idea, I suggest the manufacturer find a better way to secure the end of the air line.

No leaks so far and comfortable support
Easy to pump and release air to get it just right and is comfortable. Worried about leaks over time, but has held up for 2 months so far. One downside is it tends to travel down chair back needing intermittent readjusting despite tightening the strap, but this is manageable.UPDATE 10/3/24: Downgraded because bladder tends to wrinkle and fold at edges within rhe cover requiring frequnt adjustments. This seems to be related to the stiff material used for the air bladder. It’s still usable but would not purchase again.

RELIEIF! Works great in the car!
RELIEF! This thing is perfect. Works great in my bed and in the car. I’m ordering at least 1 more.I have arthritis in L3 through L5-S1 and sitting is the most painful thing I can do. I had to drive my mother in law’s car to a mechanic 2 hours away, and the seats are terrible, no lumbar support, it always hurts. Well, not anymore, with this, I was as comfortable as laying down. I can precisely adjust the pressure to get just the right amount of support.I also used it in bed when I had a flare up, and it worked great. I was even able to comfortably sleep on my right side, which normally causes pain due to spinal position.

Perfect support
I’ve used this inflatable lumbar support for about a year and a half and it has eliminated my lower back pain. It inflates like a blood pressure cuff so accommodates different chairs. I bought a second one to have one in the car and one in the house. It deflates easily so doesn’t take up any space on airplanes or in my bag. It’s sturdy as it hasn’t been treated gently in the car or when traveling but it still works like new. Highly recommend!

Very effective as advertised. So far, I would purchase again if necessary. Only 4 stars as I would have appreciated a bigger size. Haven’t yet worked out how to deflate a little. Guessing that this will happen over time with repeated use.

It’s like having a balloon on your back. While driving I can feel it shifting around with my body, it’s pretty distracting and not comfortable. That said, having something there has reduced my back pain.For the price, it’s decent but if you can find something more sturdy/comfortable for a bit more money, get that instead.
