How does the bottle track my water intake?
Your bottle comes with a sensor stick inside and is powered by a single CR2477 coin cell battery. When you drink out of the bottle, the sensor measures how much you drank and transfers this data to the hydration app, so it can track your progress.
How do I care for my bottle?
We know washing dishes can be a pain, so we tried to make cleanup easy! The lid and bottom ring are completely dishwasher safe. The sensor stick and bottle body must be washed by hand, but we promise it won’t take more than a minute.
Can I freeze the bottle?
If you’re a fan of extra cold water you can add ice to the bottle or put the bottle in the fridge. Just don’t put it in the freezer; it might damage the sensor stick.
Can I use hot liquids in my bottle?
We encourage you not to use hot liquids in your bottle. Hot liquids may damaged or affect the accuracy of your bottle’s sensor.
What about liquids other than water?
Adding fruit or using other liquids (like soda or coffee) might be tempting, but please use your bottle for water only to avoid sensor damage.

A great help
Lol not sure why there is a flavor category, it’s literally a water bottle, but anyways… I have a problem remembering to drink water. I love drinking just plain cold water but I constantly forget until the day is over and I realize I haven’t had anything to drink. You can get an app that syncs to the water bottle and tracks what you drink. It has a breakdown log of what you drank throughout the day. You can put goals and it will help you fulfill them. I went from barely drinking anything (which is horrible) to drinking 100ml. This does seem to make me drink an entire bottle at once, but it’s not bad.The texture of the bottle is very nice. It’s like a silicone rubber texture, so it doesn’t get slippery. It has a loop so you can carry it around using that. It’s very easy to put together and the batteries you can get at the supermarket.The app is really good even if you don’t get the bottle. You can sync it to a friend if you’d like. I got one for me and one for my mom, I got the grey blue color, and I love it. My mom got the sea blue one and it’s cute as well (I like mine better but that’s all preference).$60 is a lot for a water bottle but considering how bad my drinking habits were, it’s worth it. I’m naturally drinking a lot more because I’m cautious of it and it is kind of fun when it glows, and you take a sip and put it down and it immediately glows again. I think it’s a great product for me and I recommend if you Don’t drink enough. You could also just get the app and log what you drink manually if it’s too pricey

I love the new upgrade
I have been using the Hydrate Spark 2 for awhile and I loved it so much. And because of that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the new design without even checking out on what’s being upgraded other than the lights being more fancier. But I really have to say the upgrades make it so much better!! The battery is now being inserted at the bottom of the bottle instead of into the sensor stick before where I have always been worrying that the water I drink may get contaminated by the batteries. Moreover, The sensor Stick is now attached to the bottle cavity instead of to the lid which is so much more hygienic as it is not being exposed while refilling the bottle. I am loving everything with the new upgrade. My only concern is I am not what I am going to do with the old bottle.Green is my favourite color and since I got the green hydrate Spark 2 I have decided to go with the “storm” option – from the pictures it looks like it has more of a light teal tone, but the color is actually more blue to it.

Love it so far!
No complaints at all yet. The set up was very simple and seems to be accurate on the intake detection. Another reviewer commented the lack of a bottle loop but I wonder if theirs was mistakenly left out because I got one and also seeing others have it as well. The person that referred this to me has the 2.0 version and said her battery lasted almost 4 months…the claim on the new version is a longer battery life so I guess we will see and will update when I can on that. So far, I love and recommend it. The technology is worth the extra cost in my opinion as of now.Mine is the storm. :)Updated to talk about a rly cool feature. When out of range from your app, instead of updating the intake, it’ll Google map the location of your bottle! I find that awesome.

Love this bottle!
I had looked into buying this as a gift for my brother a while back, but he never had a problems remembering to stay hydrated. But recently, a friend purchased this same bottle and she loved it! I decided to make the investment, as well. I’ve had this about 5 days now and I love it so far – it’s sturdy, durable, and honestly – it makes drinking water fun!The flashing reminders to stay hydrated are great, and having a daily goal to reach is like a fun little competition with myself. I decided to give up drinking coffee every morning in favor of keeping myself hydrated – the money I’m hoping I will save will pay for this bottle in no time! I love that the app syncs with my FitBit app, and that you can see your friends’ progress on their water goals as well 🙂

Awesome concept. Too annoyed to keep.
While I really like this bottle my first one leaked after the second wash. I have a replacement but I am afraid to unscrew the bottom piece so I’ve been washing it with the bottom on which is really difficult to clear the white stem sensor that runs top to bottom of the middle of the bottle. You’d figure by the 3rd gen they would have these kinks worked out…. If this seal was constructed better this thing would be 5 stars all the way.Update: 1 month after setting up my replacement bottle it is now eating batteries every 3 days or so. Hydrate is sending me out a replacement stem but it’s been at least 5-6 days and I still have no tracking number so it hasn’t even shipped. Good concept but not ready for the big league. I’ll pass.Update: they reached out to me when they sent me a satisfaction email I responded to. The new stem came and worked as it should. Still not thrilled about the accuracy required to make sure the bottom seal is seated perfectly but it is working well now. I’m bumping it from 3 to 4 stars.

Wonky sensor only a month after purchase
This product really has been excellent for reminding me to drink water and stay hydrated. Unfortunately, just over a month after purchase I’ve noticed that the app is only logging about 14-16 ounces consumed per bottle (which holds just over 20 ounces).I followed the instructions to ensure that the app syncs when the bottle is emptied and when it is refilled. I even measured the water I put into it to be sure of how much I was really drinking.It’s an ingenious device and I can probably work around the limitations of the sensor. But seriously, given the price, you’d think it would take longer for the sensor to go wonky.

Investimento migliore che potessi fare per la mia salute. Non ho mai bevuto abbastanza, ho provato con app, bottiglie di vario genere, ma non sono mai riuscita ad essere costante. Il fatto che l’app si sincronizzi con i miei dispositivi, fa sì che l’obiettivo giornaliero si adegui all’attività fisica che faccio. Ho ancora margine di miglioramento ma adesso bevo almeno 1,5lt di acqua al giorno.

Die Trinkflasche ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet, schaut gut aus und liegt gut in der Hand. Die Messung der getrunkenen Flüssigkeit funktioniert gut und erstaunlich genau. Die Synchronisation zum Smartphone oder Apple Watch funktioniert zuverlässig. Ich bin wirklich begeistert. Die Flasche roch allerdings die ersten Tage deutlich nach Plastik, der Geruch ist aber inzwischen verschwunden.

So far so good, the notifications work well and it’s relatively quick to sync with the app when you drink, not lightning fast but good enough. I now drink far more water during the day. Nothing much more to say, the app simply tracks your water intake
