The Ugly: Tastes like DEATH!The Bad: Says not intended for long term use. Why not? What’s considered “long term use” and what bad things might happen????The Good: THIS STUFF WORKS!!!!I’m a 58 year old male. Last year I started taking Ogobi Premium Saw Palmetto capsules to combat the usual array of symptoms most of us men develop. (I bought them here on Amazon after LOTS of research. These capsules have not only Saw Palmetto, but a lot of other ingredients I was looking for.)After the 2nd bottle (fairly typical time frame to see results), I experienced noticeable, but slight improvements. I wondered if there was anything that I could use as a “booster”, so to speak, with just (or primarily) Saw Palmetto in it. I take my capsules at night so I was looking for something like this to take in the mornings.I did a lot of research and found this “Herb Pharm Prostate Health Liquid Herbal Formula with Saw Palmetto Liquid Extract” that I’m reviewing right now.Boy, did I choose wisely! It works like crazy!!!! In conjunction with the capsules… I drip a lot less, and IF I get up in the middle of the night, it’s only once. Also, and I don’t mean to get personal here… but things have improved a bit on the ‘personal’ level as well.As I wrote earlier, the draw back is this stuff just tastes AWFUL. I can’t stress it enough. If I try to add something to it… a flavor I like… it overpowers that flavor and morphs into something Dr. Frankenstein might have concocted. So I just drink it straight with water as quickly as I can.As for the warning about not using it for long-term use… I only take one dose in the morning. That’s far below the recommended use, so I “think” I’ll be ok, but I’d really like the manufacturer to answer my questions above on just what this warning means.I’m also a little nervous that no one have reviewed this stuff in a couple of years till I just did it… but heck, you just can’t argue with results… which have been fantastic. BPH TONIC Man what a relief~!
Their dosage recommends 2-4x daily of 30-40 Drops in water. I started out with about 35-40 drops once in the morning in about 8oz of room temp water. The taste is a very mild woodsy taste that is no big deal if it will help me GO! After 2 weeks I have noticed that this product has help empty more of my bladder with less interruptions, urges, pain and lowered other BPH symptoms. However, a 2nd dose is needed around 7pm. Also I integrated other remedies to aid my in my overall digestive health: 1 tablespoon of Raw/Organic apple cidar vinegar in 12 oz of water once in the morning 1/2 hour before eating or drinking anything ( holding my nose as the taste of aweful ). Nature’s Bounty® Cranberry with Hibiscus once in AM & PM. Organic nonfat yogurt with dried cranberries and exercise. I was experiencing pain, discomfort, constipation, bloating, needing to urinate all the time-but very little. I am felling a lot better and these products and remedies has improved my health and lowered all the signs of enlarged prostate by 75%. I will be reordering this product and will be apart of my daily life. Exercise is very important to BPH, tightening the lower stomach muscles for 10-25 seconds 3x will also help a lot. One thing to keep in mind I have to take pain killers which makes my symptoms worse, I’m not overweight and under 50.PRO: Lowers BPH symptoms of the urinary tract, aids in emptying more of your bladder, Don’t have to deal with large volume of capsules-Saw Palmetto, Stinging Nettle root in tonic~!CONS: Not enough ounces for the money.Bottom Line: Approximately $13 a month to GO better. Would give it a 5 star if it was 2 fl ounces for $13
