Really nice but not for slender ankles
Great add on for workouts. Only wish they fit my slender ankles closer.

Velcro closure is more comfortable than standard metal loops
I’ve gone through a lot of ankle and wrist. Weights and most of them are constructed the same way other than their closures. The most common form has a metal loop that the Velcro strap goes through and then pulls back around. These almost always quickly wear out. The straps friction with the metal ring Combined with the weight of the product tear it apart within a month if you wear it very often. This particular brand has straight Velcro of Velcro closure without that intermediate loop. They’re easier to put on by far and I have every reason to believe they will hold up far better. They are also more comfortable because of that lack of a pinch point.

Nice & comfy but run really BIG! They barely hold on ankle
These are super comfy and easy to put on but they are quite large. I don’t have skinny ankles/legs and have a bit of extra fluff on me right now as well and these are huge around my ankles. If I made these as tight as I would like there’s no Velcro to hold them on. Even with fastening them so the Velcro can stick on a larger part of its available space one fell off while I was just walking around my house. These could be awesome if the adjustable Velcro piece had more area to adjust. The way these are currently made I don’t see how anyone could do any sort of workout with these that involves moving much :/

These work great and are comfortable!
Absolutely the best ankle weights I have used, purchased the other brand with just a strap through the middle with the d ring, did not stay in place, strap rubbed on my heal or front of foot, had to keep adjusting so I returned them and purchased these, they stay where you put them. I use them to do incline on the treadmill and so far they are great. These were also cheaper than the other brand. The weight is not adjustable, they are sewn in.

Disappointed that product did not hold up for one year
Less than one year of use, one of the weights will not stay connected when wrapped around the ankle. After many attempts of trying to keep the weight on my ankle, I finally decided that the velcro did not want to stick together.

    Good quality after a year
I have had these for over a year, and use them weekly. They have held up great (see picture). I purchased the 5# weights and will put both weights on one leg (for 10# total) at times for movements.

    Affordable Weighted Vest Alternative
My doctor started me on a 30 minute a day walking program to increase my bone and muscle strength. She recommended I purchase a walking vest, or weighted vest, weighing 20 lbs. to increase the cardio effect as well.First off, that is a bunch of weight! Still, throughout my cancer journey I’ve lost more than double that amount. So I was thinking this would be no big deal. I used to carry all that extra before – surely I could do it again. Then I saw the cost of a weighted vest that carries 20 lbs, and that was beyond what I was able to afford. Trying to be resourceful, I found a hydration vest for under $20. We have several weights from grandfather clocks that no longer work – I figured to put those in the vest. I was feeling pretty pleased with the whole thing. But my 1st 30 minute walk with all that weight completely debilitated my left shoulder for days afterwards. It was decidedly unpleasant. (Holy cow, I used to carry all this every day???) So back I came to Amazon.I found two sets of these 10 lb per pair of leg weights *used,* so I bought them. I am able to put these on a belt around my waist now, and follow the 30-minute-per-day routine my doctor recommends. It’s so much more comfortable on my joints. And, without the weight in the vest, I might just get a water bladder for it so I can stay hydrated while I’m out walking! Or, as my cat would say… I *meant* to do that! 🐱

Lost all velcro hold within 9 months
I managed with these for about 9 months. As regular sized woman (I wear a size 8 pants) these were always a little too large around my ankles, but it was too late to return so I continued to use. I have used them while jumping on my rebounder regularly and the velcro started giving out. I cannot get them to stay velcroed for more than a minute or two anymore. In fact, they went out in this week’s garbage. I am going to try order a very different type with longer area to velcro so they can be cinched tighter and have more velcro grip.

super padres , funciona bien el velcro .

  10. KD

    Exactly as pictured.

  13. DrDee1280

Easy to use, Velcro much easier to use than straps and buckles. These are great for post surgical rehabilitation and are highly recommended.
