The COMFIER cordless neck massager is everything of what I expected. It is on a timed cycle which is ideal for me. It does an excellent job on massaging my lower shoulder muscles as well.

It took care of my painful neck, worth every penny!
It’s an intense, brutal contraption that I almost sent back. My neck has been hurting for a while, and the first time that I used this massager, it hurt like a bitch! I also had more pain the next day. I started a return, however I was curious about how others felt so I did some deep diving. Turns out that I wasn’t alone, after reading advice I tried again with the right thickness of a hand towel. The experience went from OWWW to WOW! You have to adjust as you go by using a towel or whatever you choose to be in between your neck and the massager. I’m still ticked about the shoulders, the two arm things are used to support the massager while on your neck, not to massage your shoulders. Big disappointment there, but it does a great job massaging my neck. It’s kinda heavy, but worth it.

Great neck and shoulder relief
I’m dealing with some neck and shoulder stiffness due to long hours in front of computer. It’s not severe enough to pay a visit to therapist or doctor. But I was looking for some easy and at-home remedy until I saw this massager, which addresses both neck and shoulder.After a few days using it, I feel my stiffness and tension dropped noticeably. I especially like the shoulder nodes – it gets really deeper pressure when I pull the arm straps tighter. I usually take 10-15 minutes session when I feel my neck or shoulder is sore, and I feel the muscle getting looser.The battery life is solid – I have been able to get several sessions on a single charge. Not dealing with cords is a big plus, I can use it more often in different settings – not stuck to an outlet.The overall build quality and material used are top-notch. I have sensitive skin and I had other massagers that gave me irritation. But I had no issue with this one.If I had to suggest one improvement, I’d add a couple of extra nodes in the center area. Maybe I have a smaller neck, the U-shaped nodes fit around my neck, so the massage pressure is mostly on the side of the neck. I think a node or two placed on the back of the neck will make it more effective.For me, this massager is perfect – for my neck/shoulder stress and mild pain, its shiatsu deep-tissue massage delivers good relief at home, worth every penny.

Not my thing but works fine
I’ve had 2 of the more traditional shiatsu massagers with the rotating balls that I’ve used in the past, both broke over time but with decent use. I bought this because it was different altogether really and thought the change may be good. It feels fine but it’s just one repetitive motion. Can’t really adjust this around the neck and back as much like with the traditional massagers I used to have. The massager seems sturdy and should hold up well but it’s just not as versatile in use as I’d prefer. So if you have another spot to get to outside the “4” points of pressure, good luck. It’s more compact, easy to store and less cumbersome than previous massagers. But just not going to meet my needs due to the style of it.
