Great for my post workout beverages.
I’ve had this bottle for five months now and have used it just about every day. It works great, better than my old Contigo bottle it eventually replaced. Things to remember about this bottle. The threads and lid are plastic, do not gorilla grip it tight, or it will leak. Twist until contact and a slight bump to ensure it’s seated and it will be leak free. The cap for the drinking spout is a tight fit. To avoid a victory lane celebration while you shake your favorite mix, push it until it makes a snap noise, then go crazy. Merely pushing the lid closed will not seal it. Pretty basic stuff, but reading the one and two star reviews reveals some folks still need to be reminded. This thing mixes very well, a lot less effort than the Contigo. The 20 Oz is the perfect “all-arounder” for me. The steel mixing ball just works and is so much easier to keep clean. Definitely worth the money.

Excellent as a water bottle
Great for mixing shakes on the go but also perfect as a water bottle during workouts. I’ve used this brand for over a year now of daily workouts/runs and never once has this bottle leaked water. Very sturdy, the cap stays securely closed, and at 20 ounces, it allows you to get in just enough water for a 1 to 2 hour workout. The size is wide enough so that it will fit into any car cup holder or sit on the gym floor without toppling over as the liquid level goes down.

We have regular cups and glasses. I swear we do. But what do the people at my house drink out of? Blender bottles (usually without the lid) and mason jars. I just need 2. One for home and one for work. Was constantly having to track them down. So I got them in my favorite color (purple) and told everyone I would maim the first person I saw use one that wasn’t me. Problem solved. They’re not insulated, but you can mix and match tops with the bottles. They don’t leak if you put the lid on right. And they last forever as far as we can tell.

Having recently started going to the gym after not having gone since….high school, I was sorta learning the ropes of pre- and post-workout supplements and such. I sorta went in half-blind with some protein powder and pre-workout from a local grocery store, and at the time didn’t think to pick up a shaker bottle or immersion blender- big mistake… a single scoop of Body Fortress protein mix is *really big*, and even with a large cup and a spoon or fork, it never mixed into milk well… always clumpy, not quite flavorful.I quickly realized the need for a shaker bottle, and started looking into BlenderBottle’s line. Even for just the basic 20oz “classic” shaker, they did not skimp out on quality anywhere ^-^ easy to clean (even the whisk ball, just gently squeeze it flat and scrub/rinse with a dish brush) seals well along both the upper part’s threads and the snap-close cap while shaking and carrying by the flip-up hook- though I’m not sure if I’d leave it in my bag without having drank the contents and rinsing it out first, as walking around at work or to/from the gym with it in my bag could cause the cap to come loose (and I don’t want milk in my backpack or gym bag ._.) for that, I went ahead and got a SportMixer bottle for my pre-workout mix alongside this one for protein shakes.Even though I realize *now* I might’ve wanted to go with the 24 oz (possibly even the insulated version with more secure locking cap, for keeping milk cold so I can just mix and go after the gym) for protein shakes, as….again- those scoops of powder are BIG (the brand I started with recommends up to 2 scoops for a better serving size) and it takes up a good deal of volume that doesn’t leave as much room for milk… that’s not going to deter me from recommending even this 20oz bottle as a starter ^-^ paired with the SportMixer 20oz for pre-workout drinks/other hydration or workout supplements (as I’m not sure I’d put milk in that one…a bit less brush-friendly to clean with the tapered middle) it makes a great starter kit or gift for the beginner gym-goer

Good quality, not perfect.
Its a good sized bottle. Its machine washable on the top rack, but not super durable. I use it as a backup one now as the cap separated. Its pretty thick though and its easy to drink out of. Good value for the price. I used it for morning protein shakes daily. And it was nice to grip/hold on to.

Effective and convenient.
The BlenderBottle Classic V2 Shaker Bottle comes in a variety of colors and in the past, I’ve owned six of them; they’re all great and effective. I’ve tried several pre-workout and whey protein powders, some of which have been quite grainy, but this blender bottle effectively dissolves the powders with the liquid, within seconds, making it easy to drink and durable for any trip. The lid stays on tight and I’ve never had any leaks. It’s a convenient product and I’m glad I made these purchases.

Nice and simple shaker. Nothing new, but good and sturdy quality. Mixes my protein powder just fine. Easily to wash as well and the seal on the lid is great! A good no-frills shaker. And with that price, it’s a definite yes.

Rounded bottom = easy cleaning whey
The rounded bottom eliminates the issue of whey sticking easily to the bottom edges and getting stuck and thus hard to clean. Now it’s always easy to clean. Wonderful. I fit three scoops of whey in their with enough space for water easily.

Cette gourde/shaker est vraiment agréable à utiliser. L’ouverture est parfaitement conçue : ni trop large ni trop petite, ce qui permet de boire facilement même en plein effort sans en mettre partout.Je ne l’utilise pas pour mélanger des boissons, uniquement pour boire de l’eau pendant le sport, et elle remplit ce rôle à merveille. Elle est solide, pratique, et très confortable à tenir.Simple, efficace et bien pensée : un excellent choix !
