Cold Relief That Actually Stays in PlaceI’ve used plenty of ice packs over the years, but this RelaxCoo ankle wrap stands out because of its fit and practicality. The design slips over the foot and ankle like a sleeve, so you don’t have to fight with straps or try to balance a slippery ice pack on a sore spot. Once it’s on, it stays in place, even if you’re moving around the house. That’s a big plus when dealing with an ankle sprain or Achilles soreness, where keeping the cold exactly where you need it makes a difference.The gel pack inside chills quickly in the freezer and retains cold for a good 15–20 minutes, which is just about right for a therapy session. I liked that it doesn’t get rock-hard; it stays pliable so it molds comfortably around the ankle. The fabric is soft against the skin, and I never felt like it was cutting off circulation or causing numbness beyond the cooling effect.A couple of practical notes: you’ll probably want to have two in rotation if you need longer icing sessions since one takes a while to refreeze. Also, while it fits my ankle well, those with very large feet or calves might find it snug.Bottom line: A smart, comfortable solution for icing ankle injuries or foot pain. The fit makes all the difference
Waiting on it because I see my doc soon, but pretty sure I’ve got a stronger flare up of extensor tendonitis. Usually compression has not been good, but also I found that using a mini cold pack felt like it made it worse, and I think it was because it wasn’t really suited to the shape of the foot and ankle, as opposed to this thing, which feels 1) amazing, 2) like it is making broad and uniform contact with the whole area, and 3) like it is neither too much or too little pressure, since it’s very adjustable.Because they’re reversible and I got a pack of two, I’ve been getting just the amount and level of cold I need. Wrapping it around is pretty intuitive, but what’s nice is that the velcro on the end can be folded over to shorten it by a couple inches, without it losing strength or starting to pull apart, so it stays steady and retains a good fit. Having the same level of contact and pressure across the area is helpful. Despite that it leaves indentations on my skin, the uniformity makes it more comfortable and -actually- helpful for the area, when trying to do something similar before was making it worse instead. So this is a great change.Especially if you want something to go near or on a joint, it’s worth getting for the difference in trying to wrestle or deal with something that isn’t designed for, well, bendy parts of your body. I’ve also had some other, larger and very flexible ice packs, but they ended up being too heavy, and this hasn’t, so I would rec this over, well, something big and squarish or rectangular, because weight does matter.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:it has fur on one side. Don’t recall seeing other options. My son said that it was so utterly cold though that he needed 3 layers to withstand it. Works perfectly and cools nicely
This is my second purchase of this team. I have used it for both an ankle injury as well as calf or knee soreness and let me tell you, it works wonders. It gets very cold so you might need to place a barrier between the ice pack and your skin ( I don’t though). The Velcro is adjustable so it will work with smaller (as in a child) or larger adults, like me with my cankles. It would be a perfect addition to a first aid kit. I use mine on a daily basis and it holds up very well. Stays cold for as long as I need it to. My last one lasted a year and i only had to replace it because my pet got ahold of it. You can’t go wrong with this item.

Better than a bag of frozen peas
I love this! I broke my ankle in an accident last year and after a long day of walking this is the best relief. It also functions as a nice wrap. Beats the bag of frozen peas I was using. It stays cold for about 10-15 minutes just enough time to help with swelling. It’s made of plastic and the inside is suede like. It molds to your ankle so it’s comfortable to wear.

I’d give this 3.5 stars if I could, and 4 stars plus if it were perfect. But some improvement needs to be made, imo. Pros: wraps around ankle / foot as tightly as needed. Cons: coldness last for only an hour in spite of how long it freezes. I’d LOVE for something that is colder and a little longer-lasting than this It is worth it (so long as you order multiple – you are okay). DOES NOT mean it’s bad! I’m just used to longer lasting coldness in spite of ankle / foot wrapping. Stores nicely in freeser and very compact. Comfortable and useful. I can walk around a bit in this due to such coldness.

It’s a little bit difficult to stay on the foot but does freeze nicely so that you can wrap it around.The level of the freeze can last about 10 minutes. The pain relief I would give it about a 7 maybe. Great for the price.

Best ankle ice pack ever !!!
I don’t usually write reviews but this ice wrap is so great I just had to. Im recovering from a bad ankle sprain and this is really helping my recovery. Having the strap integrated into the ice pack is pure genius and I can put this on with the fuzzy side and not have to get a towel in between it and my ankles so it is more convenient. It fits perfectly around my large swollen ankle. Thank you!!

Of all the ankle wraps/cool packs I tried for my sprained ankle, this one works the best. While it’s a bit fiddly to put on, an advantage is that it goes over the top of the foot, allowing me to walk around my apartment while wearing it. I would recommend it.
