Hard Lump of Clay
When I removed the container from the package, it had a greasy feel. When I opened the foil seal, oil splashed all over the counter. The pumpkin seed itself was a hard block of goo. Try to stir, as I know this is a seed, oil and separation is natural, Oil splashed everywhere. There was just no way to re-mix the oil and the seed. The label says simple and smooth but it was a hard block. It is ashame because I was looking forward to this. I can’t return it so I’m stuck with a unusable $15 jar of glop.

Best pumpkin seed butter
We have purchased many times and gifted to friends. It’s a wonderful, healthier substitute for peanut butter. Apple slices dipped in this pumpkin seed butter is my favorite afternoon snack ever. The unsweetened variety is just as good. If you like pumpkin seeds, you’ll love this.

Not What I Wanted, Too Much Sugar Added
I wanted to love this, but there is added sugar, and I could have overlooked this if there had been less of it. I’m not buying another round, but otherwise it’s a good tasting butter, strong pumpkin seed flavor, yet is a bit loose and runny from the added sugar. I have learned to read the ingredients from now on for sugar and additives.

Don’t be afraid of the green!
This is a great alternative to peanut butter. The green color may look a little weird, but it tastes amazing.

Too thin, just like liquid!
It stays liquid even in the refrigerator so if you put it on toast or bread, it just rolls off. Taste is good, the ingredients look very healthy, but it should be thicker so it doesn’t drip.
