A Huge Help This Winter
Context:I recently rescued three kittens who needed to be quarantined in our basement for their and our adult cat’s safety. But the basement is only partially finished and is chilly when the rest of the house is warm – so we amped up the heat to keep them (and us, when we spent time down there, which was a lot!) comfortable and cozy. The trade off, with forced air heat, is that it dries the air dramatically.We were warm, but we weren’t comfortable. The kittens couldn’t have been either, with relative humidity as low as 23%. We were using an old ~1gal humidifier but were having to fill it 3x a day just to get the RH to 35-40%. It wasn’t sustainable, so we bought this.Review:Setup – The humidifier is large, but doesn’t take a large floor footprint. It was very easy to setup, including the mist spout. It was very easy to connect via the Tuya Smart app and HEY, the awesome thing about Tuya is that you don’t *have* to create an account if you don’t want to! I happen to have 2 other household items that connect via Tuya, so it isn’t even a, “Oh geez yet another ‘smart’ ecosystem to be in,” thing. Controlling it has been easy. I love that I can check the RH% in the basement from upstairs.Operation – It runs reliably! It has a humidistat, so you can set your desired target relative humidity and it will run and keep it within 5%. The mist is cool, abundant, and reliably directional. My home is about 2200sqft including the basement and while we weren’t originally aiming to have it cover the whole house, it DOES.Filling – Since it has a 5gal capacity, the caster/wheels are incredibly useful – you don’t want to have to go back and forth with a pitcher to a sink that many times, and you don’t HAVE to. For our use case, though, we used a (dedicated for this) hose run from our laundry sink to the unit to refill as needed due to where it is. If you have a sink with a pull-down faucet, you may be able to wheel this to the sink to fill it up. We fill it once every 1-1.5 days in the northeast US in winter, so far.Maintenance – Since it is ultrasonic, cleanup is super easy – easier if you supplement the water with an additive to keep it clean.The Bottom Line:I recommend this. We used to manage multiple humidifiers throughout the house, but this one is set to solve for all of them. It’s fantastic!

Amazing Humidifier, Highly Recommended!
This humidifier is absolutely fantastic! I’ve only been using it for a day, but it has exceeded my expectations. It raised the humidity in our large master bedroom from 35% to a comfortable 50% in no time. I attached a trend to show how well it works, you can clearly see the steady increase in humidity. There’s a brief dip in the trend when I shut it off to move it to the other side of the room, but it quickly picked back up once restarted. I also adjusted the setpoint back to 50%, and it maintained it effortlessly.One of the best features is the large 5-gallon reservoir, which means I don’t have to refill it constantly, it lasts for hours without any interruptions. The design is sleek and blends well with our decor, and it’s so quiet you hardly notice it’s running. My wife absolutely loves it, especially how it keeps the air comfortable without being overwhelming.If you’re looking for a high-capacity, reliable humidifier, this is the one to get.

Features Deliver as Promised
I choose this dehumidifier because it has features others don’t have, and yes they all work well. First – it’s huge. It holds almost 5 gallons of water. The thing is – I hate filling a humidifier that holds just 1 gallon. This thing has wheels & I can wheel it up to my sink & take the extending faucet & stick it in the tank & fill it up like a hose.Even on low this thing needs to be filled every 2 days or so, carrying 5 gals back & forth to fill it would be inconvenient. How much water it uses is just how it is, I have other humidifiers & there is none you can fill once a week & forget it. I’m not sure why all the other larger humidifiers don’t have wheels – but they don’t, as they are much easier to fill if you can wheel it somewhere & stick some type of hose in it. You don’t want to have to lift it when it’s filled with 5 gals of water – it’s really heavy.There is an app & you can control the settings on your phone – it actually works as it should. No problems reconnecting when I unplug it to fill it. It comes with a remote, but I prefer to just use my phone, as you can change settings & program it from anywhere, it’s not just Bluetooth. It’s quiet as well. The display could be brighter, but it’s still visible.I set it to shut off when it reaches a certain humidity level – usually 45-50%. There are 3 diff levels of output, if you have it on high it puts out big clouds of fog & will quickly make your room cloudy & go through 5 gals of water in a few hours – you only need it set on low for even the biggest rooms.There is 1 thing that could be improved. It’s very hard to see the water level in the tank when it’s being filled. If you put too much water in, it immediately starts leaking out the sides all over the floor. I’ve found the best way to see it is to look at it from the side with a flashlight. Still, a few times I’ve over filled it & made a puddle on the floor. To be fair I don’t fill it plugged in, I unplug it & wheel it over to the sink, there is a light in the tank view – so it may be easier to see if that’s on when plugged it. It would be nice if there was some type of float that you could see from the top telling you it was approaching full.If you need a humidifier to fill a large space & would like to be able to set & control it with an app – this is probably the best choice out there.

Multiple Issues
The mist is acceptable however there’s no way to judge how full the device is. It’s ez to over or under fill, so then it shuts off unexpectedly. It also does not shut down automatically when it reaches the custom setting. I would not order again.

Got it a few weeks ago. It works okay. But there is an inordinate volume of the mist and it cannot be adjusted to lower levels. The tank lasts around 24 hours. There are no instructions about how to clean it. More instructions would have been helpful. Thank you
