Silk Eye mask
I’ve tried a ridiculous number of eye masks for Amazon and this is definitely one of my favorites.I always appreciate real silk and natural materials. This mask is real silk (not satin advertised as silk, which happens a lot). The padding is comfortable and gives a lot of space not to put pressure on the eyes even if you have long lashes. As a small-headed person I really appreciate that the strap is adjustable and not just elastic, but still has a silk sleeve to go around it so my hair doesn’t get caught in it. (yes, the sleeve is kind of fiddly to put back but the strap is stretchy so you shouldn’t have to do it more than once after you figure out what size it should be for you.)

Wish the foam was a little more flexible for better light sealing, but nice
This is a tale of a lost love – a fiber-filled silk eye mask that got left on a plane, and is no longer in production – and how this mask almost steps into that mask’s (sad, empty) shoes. The filling in this mask seems to be foam, so it’s a little too firm to quiiiite form a tight light-blocking seal. The material is a lovely, slippery silk satin that shouldn’t leave marks on your face, and the sleeve over the adjustable strap being silk as well should keep it from leaving creases on your hair. The price ($29.99 as of my order) feels a little steep, but I gotta tell you – if this mask was a proper duplicate of that lost one, I would pay it in a heartbeat. As it is, it works well (the flange around the nose cutout helps) and should be satisfactory for any overnight air travel I do.

I’ve not owned a sleep mask, at least that I can remember. But my wife has been using one and it seems to help her sleep uninterrupted, so I decided to try this SilkSilky 100% silk sleep mask. So far, I like that it can be adjusted tight enough to leave no gaps so that there is zero light getting through. I also like that the mask doesn’t push against my eyelids since there is adequate padding surrounding my eye to prevent that. The nose flap works well to give a light-free seal, which is especially helpful for me since I have a narrow nose. It definitely has a silky look and feel and is very comfortable, so I believe that it is actually silk. Plus, the washing instructions are pretty high maintenance. For example, the mask must be hand washed and air dried, using no harsh chemicals, but it can be ironed on low if needed.

Excellent mask, but poor quality buckle situation
I have yet to find the perfect sleep mask, which will never happen unless it’s custom made. This one, though, is really nice. It’s soft and silky, but stays put. The eyes are great and the nose flap is very handy for extra light blocking.My issue is with the strap situation. The elastic is very thin and cheap. It will get stretched out very quickly. The silk covering is nearly impossible to slip back over the buckle. It took me ten minutes to work it through. For a $30 sleep mask, that function is too significant to overlook.

Material is not Comfortable
I have a pillowcase from this brand that I really like, so I was excited to try out this sleepmask. Unfortunately, the sleep mask is nowhere near the same high quality as the pillowcase. It is very scratchy. It does have good eye depth if you don’t like things pressed directly up against your eyes, and it does have a unique adjustment strap that doesn’t rub against your hair. However, those are my only pros for this. I have a much softer mask that is a cotton/satin mix, and I will be going back to that one.

Fits well
This is a nice sleep mask… fits comfortably on my face and keeps most of the light out. I appreciate the eye cut outs – I don’t like masks that compress your lids and eyelashes. This design is much more comfortable. The padding is soft, and the strap is adjustable. I also like that the strap is covered with silk, so it’s kinder to my hair. The price point just seems a bit high to me.
