Only Good Collagen I’ve Tried
After trying Vital Proteins multiple times, I could never manage to get over the bad flavor and consistency which made it very unsatisfying to consume.Back to Promix’s collagen, the flavor is great. No collagen flavor that I can detect, the vanilla comes through strong, and sweetness is on point for my liking.This is a fantastic product with very clean ingredients. I should also mention I usually mix this product with Promix’s chocolate whey isolate, creates a very smooth flavor.Highly recommend especially if mixed with thier chocolate whey.

I decided to try some of the Collagen Peptides protein powder after using and liking Promix’s Casein. I have noticed better recovery following workouts. I used 2 scoops a day for 2 weeks, combined with a casein shake before bed and in the morning and saw a 4 pound loss with all 4 pounds being fat. I don’t know how realistic it is to keep up those type of expectations but I am impressed and will buy another tub to try for another two weeks. The things I noticed about this powder compared to other types of protein are:It mixes very similar to whey powders. No blender needed, just drop it in a blender bottle with almond milk, shake for 10-15 seconds and it’s mixed.The taste is also similar to whey. I prefer the taste of casein but I know everyone has their preferences.It makes a thinner shake than casein, again, similar to whey, even with 2 scoops and only 8 ounces of almond milk.I had no discomforts (stomach, cramping, etc) from taking it and generally felt good after taking it.I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Promix’s supplements. I don’t even hesitate to pay the higher prices. In 3 months, I’ve used nearly 10 pounds of Promix’s Casein chocolate, 5 pounds of Promix’s Whey chocolate and this 1 pound of Collagen Peptides. I’ve dropped from 6’2″ 259 with a 16% bodyfat to 6’2″ 236 with a 13% bodyfat. It’s almost making me think I can reach the goal I set for myself that I believed was unreachable of 225 with 10% bodyfat. I plan to continue using the supplements through August with a switch from Casein-heavy to Whey-heavy to see how it does with the leaning out. I can’t say enough good things about the Promix line.

I love Pro mix products! These collagen peptides dissolve well into any beverage and have no taste. There is no smell in the texture is not greedy. Quality is great as is with all pro mix products value for money is also great. I do wish that there was only one scoop instead of two small scoops per serving. But overall do recommend.

DO YOU NEED VISUAL FRAUD TO SELL A GOOD PRODUCT?
If you like visual fraud this is perfect for you. While I have not tried it yet, its because I will be returning it.As you can see this is kind of a bait & switch. They show you this big bag however it’s not even half full. It’s visual fraud! Way too expensive for that tiny bit you get. There are far more reasonable prices for same or better product!If they need to use VISUAL FRAUD to sell this product no telling whats actually in it!

I cannot vouche for the efficacy of this product (as I cannot for any other protein supplement). It is really difficult to say “PROMIX protein helped me achieve X, Y, and Z,” since there so many other variables like diet and exercise. Notwithstanding, I love that there is only ONE INGREDIENT in this protein powder and no fillers. Interestingly we strive to be “healthy” and in attempt to obtain that designation or appearance ingest supplements that have FAR TOO MANY chemicals.My 5 star review is based on three primary factors: (1) that this only contains 1 ingredient, (2) no funky taste, and (3) the serving scooper is so small it’s like a pre-workout (not sure if all collagen protein supps are like this).One Downside – the price. This is insanely expensive and just not sustainable if you drink shakes a few times a day. If promix could get the price down and convince people of the benefits of collagen protein, this could be a real winner.

New to collagen protein, but so far pretty good. Don’t like the taste.
I thought I’d compliment my whey protein powder that I buy from Promix, with this collagen protein. One of the main reasons, was for my joints, since I’ve started working out full-time again. I take one scoop in the AM and PM. So far, it does seem to help, but it doesn’t eradicate joint issues — pops and creaks are still there, though maybe a bit diminished. I’m hoping it’s helping in preventing injury as well, not just my current joint issues. It does seems to help a bit with skin appearance.My only gripe at this point, and it’s really one I never have trouble with, with supplements in general, is the taste. I had to mention it because several reviews claim no taste, but it does have a beefy sulfur taste, which hangs in mouth, when I take it with just water at night. I don’t want to drink juice before bed, so I need to find another way to mask the taste that I find hard to get out of my mouth — even after brushing and mouth wash. Because of this, I’d really only give it a 3.5 star rating, but granted, taste aside, if it does what it should, then I can’t ding it.

This is a very good clean protein source, along with the collegan and many other nutrients. The unflavored has a slight protein taste but not bad when mixed in a shake.
