Pretty warm and soft light, heavy but feels natural
I’ve had this salt lamp on my desk for a few weeks now, and it’s become part of my evening routine. I usually switch it on around dinner time and leave it glowing for hours while I read or finish things on the computer. The light is a soft, warm orange. The lamp feels solid and quite heavy. The wooden base looks hand-finished, a little rustic. The cord is long enough to reach the outlet behind my desk, and the on/off switch works smoothly. After long hours of use, the surface gets slightly warm, but not hot, and I haven’t noticed any melting or dampness. There’s no strange smell or residue either.

Nice salt lamp
I received the POHS Pink Salt Lamp and it is clearly real salt. Creates a nice ambiance in my husband’s office. He likes the look and function of the item and being able to keep the lights off in the early morning of evening. This creates a much softer light than the overhead lights do.My only complaint is that the light was broken and there was glass all over the place, so I did have to purchase a new light.

Great little salt lamp!
I was looking for a smaller salt lamp to put in our camper and this one is perfect. Not too big to,store but puts out plenty of light with a calming golden glow. It’s not too heavy, looks great and seems quality made. All in all a good value for the money.

Makes a very pleasant atmosphere, heavy, impressive
I was a little surprised at just how heavy it is, especially with party of the inside cut out for the light. Unique and pretty, with or without the light on. Using this as the only light in the bedroom after dark feels calming, relaxing. It’s a great way to wind down near bedtime. My family were all impressed and all argued for why they should have it in their own bedroom. Lol. I have a feeling it will be moving around the house until I order more. Overall we really love it!
