Simple and effective! I use this and the garden of life meal replacement together in one smoothie when doing OMAD diet. I add MCT oil water and avocado. I do this 5 days in a row once a month and I have lost significant weight without muscle wasting. So far I have lost 66lbs! I use the vanilla and the OWYN chocolate powder during the rest of the month with added healthy fats olive oil,mct oil,avocado. I practice clean keto during the rest of the month with a 4 hour eating window Monday thru Friday and 6 hr window on weekends! The texture is good flavor is good I add cinnamon to the vanilla just to change things up. I can go the distance a this protein powder. I use the 30 gram protein and find fasting an easier. I highly recommend! I find the taste pleasant both for the chocolate and the vanilla.

My Favorite Plant Based Protein Powder
OWYN protein drink is my absolute favorite. It blends smoothly and has an incredible chocolate taste. I like that it has natural sugars (cane), and veggies ( you don’t taste them) making it really healthy. It’s my go to after a workout. I’ve tried a lot of plant-based protein shakes and this is hands down, the best in my opinion. I like their liquid shakes too.

I want to like this but it really stays quite chalky, even with lots of mixing. The flavor is nice- my kids love it, so that’s a win. They also are not bothered by the consistency- so maybe it’s just me. (I love the OWYN chocolate- that flavor does not seem to have the same issue.) The quality overall is good.

Fantastic
I’ve used different brands and flavors in the past. Now that I’m on Zepbound and need a higher protein diet I thought I give this one a try. The fact it’s vegan doesn’t matter to me as I still mix in organic 2% milk. 100% the best tasting protein powder I’ve ever had. Won’t be making any changes going forward, this one is for me. Highly recommend.

From Best to Worst
I don’t know what’s happened over the last few months, I don’t know if the original owners sold the company. I don’t know if they’re just trying to cut costs, but the formula/recipe has changed drastically. This has been my favorite protein powder for probably a year or so now. I used to exclusively buy the cookies and cream flavor then suddenly it disappeared and you couldn’t get it anymore so I switched to the chocolate. The last container of chocolate that I bought was a very different texture Compared to the product I was used to getting. That was already setting off alarm bells and I started to worry that I was gonna have to go through the process of finding a decent protein powder again. My mom gave me a container of vanilla because she had bought it for my brother trying to help him improve his health and he doesn’t wanna do that lol 🤦🏻♀️ so she gave it to me. The vanilla texture was great just like the chocolate used to be so I was hoping against all hope that it was just a change with the chocolate recipe but then I was disappointed to see with my most recent purchase of vanilla that it too Has become sandy and grainy and it’s impossible to get rid of The clumps And lumps in it. Because I don’t like to drink my meals, I have been consistently making protein pancakes with this protein powder for the entirety of my purchase history with them and it’s always made amazing pancakes and the pancake batter is always super smooth, Now it’s absolutely awful. And it’s not just the batter that’s coming out awful, the end product, my pancakes now are falling apart. The texture is completely un appetizing and It doesn’t matter how much binder (egg, pumpkin purée, etc) you put in there, They are grainy, sandy and Fall apart at the first hint of Maple syrup. you can’t even get a piece up on a fork because it just disintegrates. I can’t imagine trying to drink this as a protein shake because of how awful the texture is. you would think that maybe baking it or cooking with it would reduce the texture problems, but unfortunately, that is not so. At this point, I don’t see that there’s any use for this protein powder… Well, there’s no enjoyable use for it. Very sad to have to start all over finding protein powder that meets my dietary needs and taste needs. They had something so good, now they don’t even have a product worth selling. so if the changes were made in an effort to cut costs, well, now I doubt they’ll have anything to make money off of 👎

Great first batch, terrible second batch
I don’t really know how to rate this product because the first time i ordered it it was amazing! I thought that this was it, my search for the perfect vegan high protein powder was over. The powder was incredibly smooth almost like silk. I had never felt a protein powder like it. However, the second time i ordered it, i received a batch that was very gritty. I could even feel the grittiness and small chunks with my fingers. I’ve tried blending it as a smoothie and making protein balls with it but it just isn’t good. I’m so disappointed! I don’t know if i got a bad batch or if they changed their formula, but something was definitely off.

For all my lactose intolerant, upset tummy, gastroparesis people… look no further.This brand has THE BEST ingredients when creating their plant based protein. I cannot recommend this product or ANY of their protein tuna/shakes enough. They’re so good and they don’t hurt your stomach. They also fill you up and give you good energy!

OWYN swears that putting the powder in hot coffee doesn’t degrade the health benefits. So I tried it. Zero sugar so I’m happy about that, as a diabetic. Mixes well using a frother. I feel good knowing I’m getting some protein in the morning when I don’t have time to make breakfast. It’s a little gritty, but not nearly as gritty as some powders I’ve tried. Every sugar free product has an after taste to me, but this one is minimal. Would highly recommend.

I really like this chocolate plant-based protein powder. While the macros aren’t the best out there (slightly higher sugar and lower protein than I would like), the taste is superior. It is very hard finding good-tasting vegan protein with minimal ingredients. This will help me manage my cravings for something sweet while supporting nutrition goals

Most vegan proteins have stevia or other sweetners which I hate. I find sweetner way too sweet. Took me a while to find a good protein. Not sugary and hormone free. Very expensive but worth it

Has a really strange taste and huge container used to package. Only about half full. Does fill you up though and is gluten free.
