Accurate and nifty how it turns on when you open it and shuts off when you close it. Got this for me and my wife when she cooks, just to be safe and check temps if needed so we dont overcook food but know its done!!! Worked super well for my bone in chicken we made. Does the job.

Super convenient
My old meat thermometer has slowed down. Over the years and I’ve felt it’s been a bit off on temp. This digital meat thermometer gave quick results. The light up feature really helps on those night when grilling late. Not sure if my old thermometer is off my 4 degrees or if the digital one is off by 4 degrees. I’m assuming it’s my old one since it takes a VERY long time now to reach temp and the digital takes seconds.Overall I’m very happy with this purchase.

This is really one of the best meat thermometers available on ebay. Don’t let the price fool you. It’s accurate, the screen is very readable. It turns on as soon as you open the temp probe and turns off when closed. Best part is the magnets which allows you to attach to side of refrigerator or grill

Life changer for ease of cutting food.
I picked up an apple, put it in between the blades and it cut it like it was butter! Where have these scissors been all my life? I have severe arthritis in my hands. This is going to be a game changer for me. I’ll be able to go back to baking, cuting beef for stews, celery, etc. Food that I enjoyed preparing but was no longer able too! I absolutely love this thermometer!! I had my first one for almost 2 yrs before it started having problems so I just ordered a new one since you can’t beat the the price. I also got one for my parents at Christmas and they absolutely love theirs too!It is so easy to use because it lights up the second you open it so you can easily read the temperature and the numbers are big enough on there so you can see it from far away which is great.I’d say what makes it stand out from the rest is the fact that it has the different temps for the doneness of red meat right at the top so it makes cooking steaks a breeze now and I know I can rely on it for accuracy. It does say that it is waterproof but I have only washed off the probe before and never the whole thermometer.
