    The perfect yoga block!
I love the color. It seems large than other blocks but it’s the same size. I do hot yoga, even sweating all over it, it doesn’t become slick or unsturdy. It’s not too ridged and hard, like cork blocks, it has a slight softness to it.

    Best yoga block!
I’ve tried lots of blocks and this is far the best one. It’s soft and firm at same time.

  3. Carolina

    Solid dependable yoga blocks
Solid blocks that you can rely on giving you the stability you need as you move thru your yoga poses. No wobbling, slipping, of flopping over. Oh, and the color is a perfect deep calming blue.

If you want a “firm, but soft” yoga block, Manduka yoga blocks are your best bet!
I have tried many types of yoga blocks in my day. They all varied in size, shape, texture, firmness, and colour. Out of all of them, I have found these Manduka yoga blocks to be the best of the best. Typical yoga blocks are cheaply-made, and I find them to be too squishy. They never give me the confidence that they can actually support my body. On the other hand, I have used yoga blocks that are literally wooden blocks. They support my body very well, but they’re much too hard to make me feel comfortable when leaning any body parts against them. This is where the Manduka yoga blocks shine. The Manduka yoga blocks are firm enough to support your body’s weight, and they are also soft enough that they don’t feel uncomfortable when leaning on them. I ordered two blocks in “Thunder” at $16 each ($32 for a pair). I’m not sure why they called it thunder exactly, but it’s more of a dark grey/charcoal. There are some engravings on the blocks to showcase the Manduka branding, but they are not very noticeable and do not get in the way.

    Great product, bad delivery
The studio I attend uses manduka blocks, and I love them. All the blocks in the studio are the solid gray. The perfect size, edges, stability, and sturdiness. I decided to get my own, instead of borrowing, because I can keep it clean, etc (we sweat a lot in hot yoga). So I ordered the blue/white/matron block. Amazon sent me the solid gray. I’m returning and will just buy straight from manduka. The gray is nice, but I don’t want anyone in the studio to assume I am taking theirs, or to get mine confused with the person’s next to me. I just think that amazon should be more careful with shipping, in general. Anyway, the blocks really are my favorite, perfect grip for me, so I don’t want to bother with any other. Manduka got this right!

Strong and Just What We Wanted
We love these for our in home help while stretching, yoga and working out.Good strong material. Like the colors and the thickness of them as well. Not great for smaller bodies that want to lay on them, etc. But if you want to use them for holding yourself up while doing a lizard pose then here you go!

    My favorite yoga blocks
I am a yoga instructor and have tried many yoga blocks over the years. I love these blocks and recommend them to my students. They are very light weight and also very firm. I am of the opinion that you should have firm blocks for yoga, and these fit the bill.

Provides extremely firm support in your practice, worth the price
These blocks are essential to a serious yoga practice. The support for simple and advanced poses is extraordinary. I used the bargain versions from other brands when I started out in yoga, knowing very little about yoga mats and blocks. You will notice the firm support immediately. In addition, they are made from recycled material.

It’s the second one I bought for my home practice. Great block. Love that it’s recycled materials. I have cork blocks but also wanted a softer one – great for yin support.

I learnt the hard way you can’t scrimp and save with yoga blocks. I had a cheap pair from a well known discount sports shop and they were appalling. I do a lot of yin & hatha yoga and rely on blocks for support and assisting with certain poses. My cheap ones were squashy and wobbly and caused me to put so much unnecessary strain through my joints, so after much research I splashed out on a pair of mandukas. They’re AMAZING. Completely solid, keep me safe, I trust them completely. And they’re gorgeous, mine are in thunder and they’re a little bit glittery. Perfect size and perfect for my yoga practice.

This is a very piece of equipment for yoga practictioners for either restorative yoga or Iyengar yoga to help with more comfortable back bends.
