This is something my psychiatrist friend recommended I purchase years ago (like, easily 10 years if I’m being honest)!This lamp is 11,000 Lux which is 1,000 over what the minimum recommended is for effective light therapy, which means it is at a perfect Lux level for treatment. Light therapy sessions are best done for 3 hours a day as often as needed to help alleviate symptoms of Seasonal Affected Disorder. This is also very handy all throughout the year for those that work from home at a computer desk, or for those that have agoraphobia or social anxieties and don’t get out of the house much. It has no UV so you don’t have to worry about damage to your skin or tanning. You can also change the temperature of the light, so if it is a bit too “white,” you can dial it down to a warmer shade while still keeping the brightness.I was a bit skeptical about light therapy initially, but after getting this lamp, I actually notice a large difference in my mood. I actually had motivation to do things around the house, as well, though I cant say everyone will experience that feeling, I’m just relaying my personal experience. I love that it comes with a floor stand, but also an adjustable clamp so you can attach it to your desk or nightstand. I have mine on my desk bed and it works wonders. Additionally, if I just want a nice overall light in my room at night but don’t want to use my overhead light (it is too orange and honestly sucks), all I have to do is tilt this towards the ceiling and voila! Instant perfect lighting with no headache.This lamp is worth every penny, especially considering that fact that they usually are a couple hundred dollars. I’ve only had it for a short time, but I’d be very put out if something happened to it. I can’t speak to how long it will last, simply because I don’t know and the description doesn’t define the life of the bulb. These types of lamps are one and done, though– you typically can’t replace the bulbs. When this one goes out (which will hopefully be quite far in the future), I will be buying the exact same one to replace it, without a doubt.

Multi Functional Light Therapy Lamp
The Light Therapy Lamp 11000 Lux is amazing, I really love it. Assembly was easy, the pieces screwed nicely into each other and felt secure. The top portion of the lamp is bendable so you can adjust it to have the light. It also came with clips to help control the power cable that runs up the pole for about 3ft before this I really liked because it kept it from hanging loosely. The does have buttons to control it but it also has a remote that works great and a bonus is it’s magnetic so it sticks to the pole. You can just put the remote on the pole below the lamp piece. A added bonus is that this lamp came with a C-clamp that the top lamp portion can mount too so it can be a regular lamp but you can also attach it to a desk. I love how the light has multiple settings of brightness and how it’s multi functional in how it can be used in different way. So basically I love this lamp and recommend it highly.

Very nice. I haven’t used it yet because it’s not winter yet. But I’ve always wanted to try one of these because I miss sunlight so much in the winter. I am very much looking forward to using this in the dark days of the doldrums that are coming!

This lamp is so modern and convenient, it’s been a lovely addition to my home office. It brings in that extra bit of “sunlight” I need, especially since I spend so much time indoors. I love that it can stand on its own or hook onto my desk, which makes it flexible for different setups.On Zoom calls, I look warm and well lit, which is an unexpected bonus. The different brightness and color settings give me plenty of options depending on the time of day. It is a little on the pricey side, but honestly, it’s such a great lamp that I think it’s worth it.
