This is the one my ND uses when on vacation. I will tell you what she told me: It’s only negative ions, so don’t take any medications before using as it will suck them right out of you, use it for 7 days and then 2-3 times a week thereafter, be sure to use real salt without additives (not epsom salts! – my mistake). Orange means it’s pulling liver toxins, black means heavy metals, clear means acid.Does it work? Well, I can tell you that after a few months of just orange, I’m now getting a good deal of black. Have been using for 6 months now and the color keeps getting lighter overall. I don’t get the deep orange like I did in the beginning. If nothing else, my feet are much softer and I like the relaxation aspect. I think how long an array lasts may depend on the type/quality of the water. When I am at my son’s house or I use just straight tap water, the arrays don’t seem to last as long. At home, I use reverse osmosis water. For myself, 20 uses per array seems to be a good number and you can buy replacement arrays in bulk, which brings the cost down. The tub does stain if you don’t use the liners but I’m the only one using it so I don’t care.

Don’t waste your money.
Didn’t see any difference, didn’t feel any difference. The water was the same color after I ran. Cycle with nothing but the black piece in it, as it was when I ran a cycle with both my feet in it. Don’t waste your money.

This was my first time to try the ionic foot bath and I can’t believe what the water turned into! It was dark brown with nasty looking bubbles! I can’t believe that came from inside my body!I have a podiatrist appt this afternoon and I’ll get his impression on this.

There is debate whether ionic foot baths really work. I do know that some of the color changes in the water are due to the reaction with the minerals in the water. I ask myself, if the ions are reacting with the minerals in the water, does it also react with my body? Not a scientist so I don’t know the answer. What I do know is that after my first use there was a reaction in the area on the bottom of my foot that in reflexology corresponds to the kidneys. I had to massage it out. Another great thing is that it removed all the dead skin on my feet! Wow, they came out soft and smooth. The cons for me is emptying the water when done (kind of gross) and cleaning the array. Other than that, I’m glad I bought it. I love to pamper myself and if there is a health benefit that is even better.

We use this ionic foot bath regularly. It helps release toxins from your body. Great price, beautiful design. See the difference in water color if you use it with your feet in it , or your hubby’s feet or just plain. It is real, you need it!

Doesn’t work as they advertise
I returned the item when I saw that when turned on regardless of putting your feet in it or not the water still get same dirt in it so I am assuming it’s not as advertised thinking all this dirt coming from our feet’s

I like the product but the company doesn’t give any info on how to really use it. No info on how much salt or baking soda to use. Had to do research on line.
