Earth chimp goes above and beyond to protect customers from heavy metals like Lead
This is the only review I have ever left (as far as I can remember) on Amazon or anywhere else for any product. I don’t usually do this but felt compelled to a knowledge how this company went above and beyond. I have been using this protein powder for quite some time and really love it; tastes great, vegan, and made with a simple list of quality ingredients.I recently became concerned about protein powders after reading a consumer reports article about how many of them contain dangerous quantities of lead; and that vegan protein powders tended to have more lead due to the nature of their ingredients and production.I noticed that the earth chimp bag had Dave’s (the founder’s) email plastered prominently all over the packaging and encouraged the customer to email him with any questions, so I did. Within a day Dave had responded back not only with a detailed explanation of their production and health safety processes but also the heavy metal testing reports to back it all up. Long story short, there is no concern for heavy metal contamination in the earth chimp protein powders because: they make their product in their own facility in Ireland so have full control over production, they regularly pay third party labs to test for heavy metals (and test very much well below the legal threshold for metals), and they are regularly audited by various government agencies in Ireland and the US FDA for heavy metals.I love that this company goes above and beyond to look after their customer’s health and also to explain the information when asked

The last vegan shake mix you’ll ever buy!
Quite possibly the world’s greatest vegan protein mix! Seriously, I’m not kidding. I have a pretty restrictive diet and have had trouble with various vegan protein powders before. They either upset my stomach, taste terrible or the texture is off. And given the recent Consumer Digest report on heavy metals found in protein powders, you really need to do your research. Since I was concerned, I reached out to the good people at Earthchimp and they even shared a copy of their heavy metals lab report. Talk about transparency. A company that is willing to open the books on details like that are certainly worth celebrating. Give them a chance and I’m certain you’ll agree that they know how to do this right. Their shake mix is fantastic and I urge you to give them a chance if you are looking for a change. If you have questions, contact them. They’ll help you out! Great company, great products!

Best protein powder ever!
We are back in the States and the first thing I did was order Earth Chimp’s vanilla protein powder. It is the most delicious protein powder my husband and I have ever had hands down! Big flavor, no grittiness or aftertaste and hugely versatile. In addition to shakes, we add it to puddings and as a partial flour substitute in my baked goods. It is made from whole plant foods which is really important to me as a nutritionist.

I was curious about EarthChimp protein powder because one of my favorite plant-based YouTubers spoke very highly about this product, so I finally ordered some! There’s so much to like about EarthChimp. The protein powder is plant-based and organic, and the ingredient list is recognizeable. I really enjoy mine with soy milk. I find that it incorporates with the soy milk easily in a blender bottle.The one drawback is that I think this protien powder has quite a bit of sodium per serving. But other than that, I am really enjoying it!

Earth chimpos the best!
I have been using earth chimp now for years. It is by far the best tasting protein powder (vegan or otherwise) I have ever tried. I was so excited when I first tried it and it wasn’t cloyingly sweet, artificial and chemical tasting, had a nice mild chocolate flavor AND didn’t upset my stomach. Did I mention it also mixes well without clumping?So I freaked out a little when I read some articles about how common elevated levels of heavy metals like lead are in vegan protein powders. Do I messaged earth chimp through their website with the batch number of my most recent bag. In 2 days I had a personal letter and report (with basically undetectable levels of lead). That says it all. I am a customer for life

Great Powder and PHENOMENAL Company
The product itself is 5 stars – great flavor and a little bit gritty, but I like that. I add it to my breakfast cereal each morning for a little protein boost after my morning workouts.As for the company, I reached out to them after reading the recent research from Consumer Reports about protein powder having excessive lead content – and particularly so for powders with pea protein (which EarthChimp has). Founder/CEO got back to me almost immediately. They operate out of Ireland and have several quality checks along the way due to different jurisdiction-specific regulations. But the bottom line is that their most recent independent inspection showed lead content at a level lower than what is allowed for baby formula in the EU, which is obviously really, really safe.This is a company that cares about your health and the quality of what they are selling. Buy with confidence.
