Stay asleep all night – can’t wait for winter to be super cozy
As a person suffering from Kidney Disease, I get to enjoy many of the side effects such as feeling cold, trouble staying asleep, and extreme insomnia. I can’t believe how amazing a weighted blanket is – wish I would have gotten this a year earlier. I have a king-size bed and ordered the 25lb version and actually was concerned it might now be heavy enough. the blanket is plenty soft and heavy. Getting into bed you don’t just flip your sheets down, you somewhat roll the blanket to the side, get in, then roll it back over you. It does an amazing job of keeping me warm and comfortable all night long. The extra weight does something to you which helps you have a deeper sleep with less chance of waking up. For my wife, who weighs a lot less than I do, she would prefer a blanket that is lighter. The extra weight does make it a little challenging to get out of bed – it’s not that it is difficult, it’s as if the blanket doesn’t want you to leave and is hugging you to keep you in bed. When I travel it seems so odd to have a traditional hotel comforter and sheets – I miss my weighted blanket instantly. Having a weighted blanket is like being snuggled by someone who’s body temp is perfect, skin is soft, and moves with you. I highly recommend everyone consider a weighted blanket. The last question is how heavy to go. I used the formula to pick one 10% of your body weight, then I went with the next size up. I believe 10% of your weight is the right way to go. Can’t wait for winter – this thing is going to be the perfect temp without using any heating pads or heated blankets!

Amazing
I didn’t realize how much of a positive impact a weighted pillow might have on my anxiety. I’m blown away. I must say it helps me sleep very deep like never before. I wake up feeling I slept a whole day, but it’s only been 6 hours. I enjoy the grounding properties of my first weighted pillow when I’m trying to relieve stress during meditation practice.

Good! But noticeably smaller than bed
After only one night of sleep with it, I can comfortably say this will likely help my sleep. It feels very nice. HOWEVER, even though I purchased the “full” bed size blanket, it’s probably better fit for a twin size bed. The bed in the picture is a full size and you can see that it doesn’t even touch the whole width of my bed. Other than that, great product!

Exactly what I wanted
Having read other reviews, good and bad, before purchasing this weighted blanket. I want to respond to some of the unfounded, and often ridiculous, criticism:1. It’s too small for my bed.This blanket is just that: a blanket! It’s not a comforter, duvet, or bedspread. It’s a blanket. It’s supposed to fit within the corners of the top of your mattress, not drape down the sides or foot of your bed. I bought the Queen bed size blanket. It fits the top of my Queen sized mattress perfectly.2. It’s too hot.Again, it’s a blanket. It is used for retaining body warmth. It’s supposed to keep you warm. I have little sympathy for people who complain that it is too hot. Don’t you know what a blanket is? It’s cold where I live (at the moment it’s -20 degrees below zero at 10pm. Two days ago it was -40 degrees below zero!) I wanted this blanket for warmth, as well as weight. I typically only need my AC on for about four weeks in the summer. And I like to sleep in a cold bedroom. keep my room at 55 degrees year round. This blanket provides ideal warmth.3 The weight is uneven.The weight of this blanket is perfectly even. It is a quilted blanket, and each quilted section holds in place the layer of glass bead webbing which gives the blanket is mailable weight.This blanket is ideal. The outer fabric is soft. It’s the perfect amount of heavy. I was worried that the 20 lbs model I got was not going to be heavy enough, but it is just right. And it’s warm and comfortable.I’m completely satisfied with it. I highly recommend it.

Amazing quality blanket
I originally purchased one for myself, then purchased a second one for my partner. The quality of these weighted blankets is amazing. The weight is well distributed across the blanket, the blanket itself is made of a high-quality material, is easy to wash, and is a great value for the money. The little loops to attach the blanket to its cover are very strong. I love the dark gray color and the softness of the blanket.

this product is not as advertised.It is not a weighted blacnket, nor is it a cover for a weighted blanket.it is a slim blanket out of poly fabric with no beads internally as advertised.
