The BEST Sleep Mask I Have Ever Used!
I have many reasons for using sleep masks — insomnia (so I often take naps during times of full sunshine), migraines, traveling. I admit that unless a mask came with some sort of spa kit, I’ve never spent much money of one either. So when I was offered to try the Jersey Slumber 100% Silk Sleep Mask at a discount, I jumped at the chance!When the package came, I immediately took it out of its packaging and tried it on. It has an adjustable strap for the perfect, most comfortable fit. This in itself is unique to all of the other masks that I have used; they all have been one size fits all. The difference in being able to adjust the mask to my personal comfort makes a huge difference! This is the most comfortable mask that I have ever used.The silk is so soft that I barely knew that I was wearing a mask at all. It breathes and I didn’t feel sweaty or hot under it; in fact, it is exceptionally cool and comfortable. I roll around when I sleep but even with tossing and turning, the mask stayed in place for the duration of my sleep. That’s a big plus!Another huge plus is that the mask *completely* blocks out ALL light! Even in the brightest room (and I even went outside and put it on to test it), IT BLOCKS OUT ALL LIGHT COMPLETELY. The biggest problem that I have had with other masks is that the mask doesn’t fit quite right or is too stiff or not cut right and a sliver of light always seems to get through below my eyes or on the side. Not so with the Jersey Slumber Sleep Mask. Not one single bit of light got through this mask, even with my eyes open (only for testing purposes; I don’t sleep with my eyes open! Ha!). I am thrilled with this as even the smallest amount of light distracts me from sleep and having complete darkness is my goal when I wear a sleep mask. This one fits the bill completely. This is also so very important when I have a headache and I recommend this mask 100% for anyone who seeks complete darkness when trying to rest through a headache.Trust me, you can’t pay enough for solid sleep. The Jersey Slumber 100% Sleep Mask is definitely something that you will want to have to help promote complete darkness and comfort. I want to have more than one; one for my bedside, one for my purse and desk at work (when I have an unexpected headache and need darkness while I wait for my meds to start working), one for my carry-on luggage bag.For less than $13.00, this is well worth the money that you pay. My favorite light blocking sleep mask (and I have tried others)
This is my favorite sleep mask. I have purchased it repeatedly for the past 6 years. It got me through three brain surgeries. Hospitals are very brightly lit and I am sensitive to light. I use it nightly to this day, even with my new CPAP device. It is comfortable, lightweight, silky smooth, and easily adjustable with one hand while in bed. I recommend it to people all the time. I have given it as gifts to friends. I tell my NPH Zoom support groups that the one thing they must pack for the hospital is the Jersey Slumber mask. The foam earplugs that are included are mostly worthless for blocking out sound; I prefer the moldable silicone ear plugs, which have also been with me for three brain surgeries and multiple home use. I have tried other masks but I always come back to Jersey Slumber. Plus, they include a lovely, heartfelt thank you note, which is a very classy touch.

Feels amazing and works pretty well
I love that this eye mask is very large and covers a lot of my face which really keeps the light from getting through. It is also very soft and comfortable, so I don’t even notice I’m wearing it after a minute of having it on. Doesn’t overheat my face, either, very breathable. It is much better at keeping out light than the cheap little dollar store eye mask I used to use.The only drawback is I often wake up in the morning with the mask off my head and somewhere on the pillow. I don’t know if it is because the silk is so soft and smooth that is slides easily off my face, but my old cheap dollar store mask stayed on my face all night better. I probably need to adjust the strap to different positions and see if that makes a difference, but I can’t sleep if it is too tight; my head is sensitive to stricture and I get headaches if I wear headbands, even, so I set this fairly loose. This probably varies from person to person with different kinds of hair and head shapes, but for me it often falls off. I could also try using bobby pins to secure it to my hair.At any rate, it is a wonderful mask and I will find a way to deal with the slipping off in my sleep. I really love this is made of high quality silk because I have read silk is so good for your skin and can help slow down wrinkles, even.Definitely recommend.
