I usually buy Yankee candle balsam and cedar. But I recently bought a high end sample of a cedar candle that smelled so much better it sent me on a mission for a more affordable version. This smells great. I actually tried Yankee Bayside Cedar but it smells like cologne. This candle has that woodsy cedar smell you want. Fills a large space. UPDATE: Came back and bought two more. The wicks burn beautifully on all three after lighting and relighting. I am so happy to have found these candles! Great product!

It came well packaged, it is a good size for the price and it looks really pretty.I didn’t even light it, I opened the box & smelled it. The scent just isn’t for me.I gave it 5 stars, even though I’m returning it, bc actually is a good product.When I give reviews, I never deduct stars just bc, of my personal taste. That’s unfair to the sellersI like to give honest reviews & just bc I don’t like the scent, doesn’t mean someone else won’t.

I have had these a few months x so far they were great, until last night. I had one candle on, off in a corner. While watching the beautiful flame bouncing off the wall, I turned to have a 1 minute chat with my husband. I then turned back to looking at the candle light. At first I thought wow, that’s beautiful! But quickly turned into crap, the whole candle is going up. That’s right. THE ENTIRE JAR WAS BOILING, AND ON FIRE! Mind you, I had only had this candle burning a max of an hour. Never have I seen a candle do this, so uncertain where the fluke in it all is. Just telling everyone to make sure you keep a vigilant eye on these candles.
