Too good to be true! The best!
So, I have been taking liquid collagen w biotin product from Costco for about a year. Taste good and easy to take daily mix w my drink. Then I heard about this fish collagen which supposedly the best to absorb into body due to size of the partial is extremely smaller than the other collagen product. So, I have been researching about the fish collagen. Then, many of the review mentioned about the bad smell or taste, so had concern. I have been reviewing thru some of the product via Amazon then I thought I should try this product. Received yesterday but thought of people’s comments in review, I didn’t even want to open the container. Then, just now, I decided to try. I am a coffee drinker, so brewed fresh coffee and mixed a big scoop of powder. This powder is very fine and smooth and I smelled before mix w coffee and no smell at all. The powder mixed very well in a hot coffee. I had to mix w spoon a little but it was like same as when you mix powdered coffee creamer. Mixed well fast. Then I added my hazel nut flavor liquid creamer about 2 tsp as usual. I got scared but tasted a little first. Oh my — no smell!!!! No fish taste at all!!! Seriously, maybe my coffee taste little bit different – can’t explain but honestly, hard to tell the difference. Now, I am thinking since this powder doesn’t even smell, I can add onto my fish cooking, salad dressing, tuna sandwich – etc, I mean this is too good to be true. Maybe this product price is little expensive than some of the other products but I am loving this already at first try. I haven’t try in a plain water so not sure how it will taste but even w water, I don’t think this powder will make smell because when I smell the powder in the container, no smell. I am a pharmacist so I am so picky about checking things and I have to say, I give two thumbs up on this product. Mix w coffee– for a coffee drinker, this is awesome. And for a tea drinker, mix w green tea powder (Costco has good one) w this will work great with this powder. I just finished my very first coffee w this powder and decided to write a review because review comments always very helpful to me. So, hope my review helps to people who get scared to try because of fish smell or taste. There is no fish taste or smell. I checked over and over from the start to end while drinking coffee. Even no after taste or feel anything on my tongue. I am loving this. I will write a follow up review after a few months.

Excellent marine collagen that mixes well in coffee
Excellent collagen product. I don’t eat beef so was looking for a high quality marine collagen. This collagen does not smell and is also flavorless. It mixes in hot coffee easily and doesn’t clump. It was suggested to me by doctor because I have acid reflux and I drink black coffee on an empty stomach. He said that isn’t good and you should always pair food with coffee so he suggested I put collagen in my coffee along with taking a supplement called Refluxter afterward to prevent reflux. So far so good and I am happy I’m getting some fat free protein now in the morning along with my coffee.

I’m good for a while on taking them
I bought the Marine Collagen Peptides after having finished a complete container of their Multi Collagen powder and had ordered a second one, when I began to suspect that the Multi Collagen one was causing acne breakouts in my skin. I am over 50, and suddenly, I was getting multiple breakouts along my hairline and on my face. After ruling out everything else I was putting on my face and scalp, I googled bovine collagen and found that some people do indeed, seem to get breakouts from bovine collagen. So, I am about two weeks in to the Marine Collagen. It appears that it causes fewer breakouts, but still seems to cause some. So, why do I continue to use it? Because I notice that my skin seems to heal faster when I am taking the collagen supplements, and some of the long time imperfections I have on my skin seem to be fading a little. I will try to keep a critical eye on it and perhaps take some close up photos of my areas of concern and see how they compare after I finish this container.I haven’t noticed any fishiness to the product. I stir it into my coffee and don’t really notice a difference in taste. That by itself means that I am more likely to continue it. Pills, I’m good for a while on taking them, but then I just stop for a while because I get tired of the numerous supplements that I take and cold turkey them all for a while.

Perfect for coffee
I don’t have any particular issues medically for taking this product, I have just heard that collagen is a good thing as you age, so I started taking this. I was taking another brand (not marine collagen) and didn’t notice a difference and a friend said she noticed a difference when she started taking marine collagen so I thought I’d try it. I do ride a Peloton bike and have quick recovery from my rides. My hair and nails seem to be growing long and strong and my skin does look very clear and nice. All from the collagen? I’m not sure but I’m going to stick with this brand. It absorbs quickly into my coffee and has zero taste. I’m happy with this brand for those reasons and although I can’t say for sure I notice health benefits, my body seems to like it (as opposed to showing signs of not liking it.) I feel like this is a good brand and good quality.

Best collagen I’ve tried
I have gone through several brands of marine collagen. I specifically chose marine collagen because I researched that it had a lot of anti-aging benefits for the skin. I know other people use it for joint pain. I do not need it for that but take it to keep my joints in good health now that I have reached my 50s. As to whether marine collagen affects my skin, I am assuming that it works long-term, over time, and thus that affect cannot be measured easily. I have been taking it for about 18 months.I decided to review this product in order to help future shoppers as they try to pick the best brand. This one dissolves better than ANY other product I’ve tried. All the others clumped annoyingly as I stirred it into liquid and were generally messy to consume. Not so for CodeAge. I highly recommend this marine collagen solely for that quality alone. It is completely tasteless when stirred into smoothies or coffee or milk, which I consider a plus as well. This tub is large enough to last a while (I use one scoop a day) so I consider it a good value.

I ordered this product due to my usual collagen supplement being out of stock. I haven’t used the product long enough for the effects however the solubility is definitely a minor issue which irks me. I tried both hot and cold water which always results in white clumps that require me to use a spoon to break it down and wasting my time in the mornings before I go to work. This is definitely not a collagen supplement issue as my previous one dissolved just as well in cold water.
